Synergy Samui Resort

As other reviews stated we were also over changed and had to question it several times before they gave us the change back of over 120 bhat, which they were leaving us short. The food was nice but be careful with payment. When we questioned the bill they wouldn’t show it to us.

Nice complex on the beachfront. It is in the quieter part of Chaweng Beach. The Connect room was fine but with a very old bathroom that didn't go with the rest of the room. As a negative point, the lack of flexibility for a late check out. We asked to keep the room until 2 pm and we were denied. The breakfast varied and good. In each villa there are two rooms. A couple of days we had noisy neighbors and you can hear everything through the internal door that connects the two rooms. Very friendly staff with the famous Thai smile on their faces.

Pretty good value for money and is located at a good vantage point beside the beach, AC could be more powerful and locks might need to be upgraded over the years but on the whole, good value for money!

Nice hotel on the beach, rooms big, comfortable and clean, great location, very nice pools and beach, friendly and helpful stuff, very nice breakfast

Amazing find. We have really enjoyed and had a relaxing couple of nights at this resort.
The beach and swimming pool were clean.

We wanted to stay few more nights but the place was fully booked.

Location is around 15-20 min walk from the party/restaurant scene.

Good things first. Staff very nice and receptive to complaints. Food ok. Had to ask for a lot of things a lot of Times. Refill the Juice ignored except when we told hotel owner at 0830 breakfast ends at 1000. Why is it empty. And lebt that way. No body cares about guest needs.

Now the bad things. Room 1 had brocken electrical outlets, Safe and Door to Villa Not secure. Other guests had same prblems with Safe and electrical outlets. Dirty bedsheets and Telefone. Phone System brocken for at least 7 month.
ROOM 2 no hot water and brocken showerhead.
In General Not keept up. I.e Pathway overgrown and beach access blocked with chairs and umbrellas. Beach littered with Plastic debree and Garbage. Rooms unfunctional and beds not comfortable. Rezeption Not able to make change for small Bills etc.
Things started to change but little to late. All Problems due to noncaring staff Till the end of the visit when a Supervisor started to fix things
Would Not return to this resort. And we told the owner. Who on our last day started to make changes.

Service was Excellent. Cherry and lin were very kind and quick to help with everything.even to get out of some rain.

Booked for 2 weeks originally and ended up staying 6 weeks! Top location, nice modern bungalows, tasty breakfast, 2 amazing beachfront pools, excellent staff - do I need to say more? I’ll be back!

I stayed for 3 days at this hotel. As soon as i arrived the cooks were sitting around the pool playing with their mobile phones, very strange for a 4 star hotel. The room smelled like cat urine (which by the way, there are several walking back and forth). The water in the bathtub had a cloudy color, dirty, not in conditions of use. We went down to have dinner at the restaurant, it was 9pm, there was tremendous difficulty in communicating with the waiters, they didn't speak basic English and also everything indicated that they were newly hired for their duties. We went to order our food at 21: 45 and the hotel manager inexplicably brought us the check - we couldn't eat. The experience at this hotel continued like this through the 3 nights we stayed there; Bad service, smell of urine and dirty water in the bathtub (as much as we called maintenance, it didn't solve it). The structure of the hotel is perfect, the beach is beautiful but the service is terrible and for the price they charge for everything, I found the experience HORRIBLE.
Ah, u have to user WhatsApp if u want to communicate with them; phones are DEAD!

Nice location, but bringing water from Italy to Thailand is just crazy and a no go in todays time with all the global environment problems! Thailand has great local water.

Very relaxing and comfortable resort at the beachfront. The plantation is fantastic and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return next time!

We visited for cocktails on the beach. Cocktails tasted good but were very weak and quite expensive for Thailand so not entirely satisfied. Location on the beach is good and very peaceful. Beanbags were super comfy.

The rooms are big, but old and under maintenance, no phone, door lock is half broken.
There are ants in the rooms, which the stuff clean when we asked but they did come back

The Pools are ok and have bar on them and next to it
The beach is nice
The location is very good.
Maybe more suite for Young guys then Families.

Very good location for party! I advice you to go in elephant bar at night, always good for fire show and music
And cool swimming pool.

It s very nice chilling under the tent on the beach.
Waiter had some difficulties to communicate in English or in Thai, which eventually created some annoying misunderstanding.

All good. Breakfast is ABF custom made due to covid-19. Only all Villas in Synergy resort were built too close, made all walkways look narrow. 2 Pools in the resorts, really clean

Went here for some good food and chilling at the beach, ordered some food and drink (which was okay) from the card, but when we paid apparently the card we ordered from wasn’t „actual“ anymore + 7% service charge has been added. So after discussion we ended up in paying 50% more (!) than expected. I only respect honest places, this one isn’t, so no recommendation.

The room was as advertised. However, there were many problems and misunderstoods when I was here.

Free Massage: Salesperson told me that he would give me 1 hour/person as complimentary if I bought 3 nights. However, on the paper he wrote me was 2ppl 1 hour. It was a stupid of me that I didn't read it carefully. So, I cancelled the service since 30 min massage would only be the waste of time.

The Room: A bit older than expected. Wear and tear everywhere. The aircon in my room couldn't be adjusted. The staff offered me a new room, but I was too lazy to move my stuffs. Also, there is no towel hanger in the bathroom. The only thing that I like about the room is that it has the door that you can access to bathroom from outside.

Free Seafood Dinner: I had inform the staff a couple weeks before I arrived the date that I planned to have a dinner. However, when I went there, the staff had no idea that there would be guests for free seafood dinner. He asked me to wait for 30 min and gave me free drinks and fried rices as complimentary. However, the portion of free seafood was super small. The salesperson told me that the portion would be a lot for 2ppl. Not really as advertised ; (

No Water: On the morning of my second day here, the water was not working. I was in a rush for shower since I needed to get ready for the island tour. The problem was solved before the bus arrived, but it shouldn't have happeded.

The staff here are nice so far. BUT, if you want to stay in Samui peacefully, I would NOT recommend this place for you. There are other better selections out there if you pay a couple hundreds bath more.
