Starbucks @ Central Festival Samui

Rather friendly staff, clean place, only downside the air conditioning is extremely cold! The difference with the exterior is striking…

Super friendly staff. Despite the enormous stress, they always have a smile and a nice saying (greetings to Mickey). Very nice, air-conditioned and quiet location to work.

Starbucks is Starbucks but it’s good. I was satisfied with my drip coffee. We chose second floor to work at and I let the staff know we needed a table cleaned. They were attentive even though they had a steady stream of customers. They should know their service was noticed and appreciated.

Coffee and dessert - 10/10
Wifi -1/10

Wifi really sucks. Just can't connect even after I did registration. Thanks God I took my phone charger, so I can share internet to my laptop.

I noted that wasn't only my problem. Some customers were sharing wifi as well.

Please, Starbucks, do something with that.

Though I normally patronize Starbucks at home, this will likely be my only visit to this location.
At home, this would rate 5 stars but everything is relative, and here there are better choices for a caffeine/snack fix.
North Americans seeking a bit of home will feel comfortable here but if one really wants to be a tourist, check out the stand alone shop near Tops or sample the Tops location. Both serve amazing hot beverages with the stand alone highlighting what individual service and preparation is all about.
Besides, your Starbucks loyalty card does not work here anyway.

It’s such a lovely spot the atmosphere is so nice with the decor being festive and an outdoor area to sit which opens up to a outdoor singing and amazing ambience.

Your usual Starbucks experience but without the active friendly atmosphere. Lacks decorations and nothing adorns the floor or walls. Austere. Coffee is fine, but lacks kick. Food is limited. Better to go to Costas or one of the other coffee shops.

We went to get breakfast and coffee this morning. We walked in and the man was cleaning up. He went directly to the register and moved the cups with his dirty hands. We walked straight out. Not washing hands when cleaning is disgusting.

Staff is mostly kinda rude, never smiling once and making their job servicing you getting expensive coffee like if it was a painful chore to them.

They are the best staff here they are so sweet and nice

Nice Aircon and the coffee was served in a mug that was nice to, relaxed, busy, clean.
Only disappointment was nearly 350 but for 2 coffee, wow I can't afford to go back.

Very average cappuccino. Iced green tea latte was too sweet for me. The pancakes were however very tasty but a bit too pricey. Good for friends chilling as the restaurant was quite quiet and lots of seatings available.

Coffee is a delicious and relaxing space.
But the staff is nasty.
Is that because I am a Japanese?

What can I say - good coffee is needed from time to time. And they have good coffee. Prices are on Starbucks level.as one might assume.

Very uncomfortable, aircon is way too cold. And it smells moldy, obviously also from the aircon

The location is good! That's all I like.
But The starbucks at Big C supermarket, the price is cheaper.

It's a Starbucks. What more can you say? Thailand though so that means an extra helping of friendly staff. Nice.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Super Preise mit riesigen Tassen. Quakität wie bei Szarbucks üblich. Netter Outdoorbereich. Alles in alle. Völlig ok

Whenever I'm traveling overseas I always enjoy a Starbucks cappuccino and a light feed. This Starbucks on Koh Samui did not disappoint.
