4We drove with Songserm from Koh-Tao to Koh-Samui. The trip itself was okay. The suitcase drop-off and return is just as chaotic as at Lomprayah, but here you at least had the opportunity to store the suitcase indoors, which protects it from the rain. There is a deduction because we had to change ours to another boat in Koh-Panghan without this being communicated at any time. We continued to sit in the boat until at some point someone said we had to get out quickly and go over…
It's really that bad. We went from koh Samui to Phuket and paid 700 Bath per person, which is a good price. The pickup from the hotel went smoothly but the ferry was 1h late and we had to wait at the peer. The ferry itself was fine.
On the mainland, a big bus picked us uo right way and we drove for 45 minutes and stopped at a small restaurant. This is where the nightmare began. We waited 1.5h and a Woman taked to every person alone, pressuring them to book a Taxi on Phuket with her that will bring everyone from the bus stop to their final destination. She charged 400-1000 bath per person depending on the final destination.
After the long wait, all 14 passengers and all their bags were but into a Minivan. Nobody was able to move while the 4h drive to Phuket.
On Phuket, we started to understand that there will be no taxis but the Minivan will bring everyone to their hotels on his own which took another 2h.
We done the Phuket to Samui trip with Lomprayah before, what was cheaper, faster and 100 times more comfortable.
The bus service songserm and/or their partners are offering is somewhere between terrible and criminal.
Ils ont toujours du retard, je l'ai pris plusieurs fois, entre 1h et 2h de retard, mais le prix reste raisonnable. Il faut savoir être patient et profiter du bon temps. Une fois dans le bateau attention à la clim, il fait super froid! Nourriture pas cher et bonne.
