Sheraton Samui Resort

Hotel is far from a 5 star standard. In my opinion a good 3 or 4 star hotel. It's very down-to-earth, but doesn't offer any particular wow effect. The employees try to compensate for this in many places. The air conditioning makes a quiet night impossible. Very loud. Likewise the rooms directly on the street. The breakfast has a large selection, much of it mostly tasteless. The sanitary facilities correspond to a 3 star hotel. Likewise the pool. The beach, on the other hand, is great. Fine sand and great sea. Towels included. The parking lot for cars etc.as well. You can get to the next town either by taxi or rented vehicle. Running is not possible. We were guests for two days and left earlier (than planned). No recommendation.

We have felt very comfortable here! Fantastic hotel complex, great beach. Very friendly staff who anticipate your every wish. Great breakfast! We spent our 30th wedding anniversary here. With the help of the hotel staff, a very nice experience! When you get exactly what you expect, you're happy! When you get more than you expected, you're thrilled! We were thrilled! Keep it up and please maintain this standard!

My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton Samui Resort in September 2023 and cannot understand the sometimes extremely bad reviews. The rooms and the hotel itself are/is older, but I don't think that's a problem at all because everything is totally clean. We had a room with a direct pool and sea view, which we really liked. The staff is extremely friendly and the food in the hotel restaurant was always delicious. The beach is the highlight, fine sand and turquoise sea. We rode around on the scooter, some of the beaches look completely different - total low tide and stones. The loungers and parasols at the pool and beach are mostly new and very comfortable (there are also enough of them). Towel service was great, you could also take 2 or more. There are three free-roaming dogs on the beach, but they are totally trusting and sweet. We would recommend the hotel and enjoyed our stay very much:)

We stopped to eat at the restaurant overlooking the beach… prices perhaps slightly high but fabulous food…. Breath-taking view.

We have been here since August 16,2023. We all like it! Yes, the hotel is not super new, but very comfortable, beautiful, homely. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Rooms are cleaned every day, breakfast is good. Since we have a rented car, it is parked at the hotel for free. There is a mini market nearby. The beach is beautiful, we rested for 9 days, we liked it very much! For several days the sea was calm, for two days there were small waves, it was very cool to swim! Views are gorgeous! You can see the fish at the rocks on the beach or walk to the northern part of the beach and there are reefs there! Near 7eleven, cafes. It is very convenient to go to the Central Festival, it is nearby. And most importantly, the staff! Helped us purchase ferry tickets with no problems!

I don’t usually like Sheratons, but this one was AMAZING. I’ve traveled all over the world and have never seen top notch service like the service provided in this hotel. Room was very clean and well maintained. Highly recommend staying here for your Koh Sumai experience

I didn’t like this hotel at all. First of all rooms are not modern. We had problem with air conditioner, water in sink, also water in shower can be cold sometimes. Pools are not good you even can’t sit over there cause it’s too painful even for feet. Breakfast is good. Stuff is nice. You always have to walk upstairs to get to reception, breakfast and other places because it’s too long time to wait for a buggy.

Overall a decent experience though wondering if other brand named resorts can offer more for less. Breakfast spread is great, loved the noodles and effort for variety in the offerings. Is understaffed.
Rooms are decent, had deluxe room with view of sea. Beach access was great though pool is arguable. Not many restaurant options and bar offerings for whiskey is limited and dated. Overall very well taken care of, staff are friendly

My spouse and I recently stayed at the Sheraton Koh Samui Resort and we were left feeling disappointed with our experience. While the hotel had some positive aspects, such as its location and facilities, there were several issues that detracted from our stay.

Firstly, we had booked and paid for a larger guest room with a king-size bed and a larger balcony with sea view, but upon check-in, we were offered a lower category room with a double bed. The staff member who assisted us with check-in was not particularly helpful and did not seem interested in addressing the issue or finding a solution that would better suit our needs.

Although our room was eventually changed next day, it still did not meet the standards we had expected. The view from the room was not as advertised and the amenities were not up to par for the price we had paid.

Furthermore, we were disappointed with the customer service we received during our stay. Staff members were often unresponsive and unhelpful, particularly during late check-in. It was clear that the hotel could do better in terms of training their staff to provide a higher level of customer service.

Overall, while the Sheraton Koh Samui Resort has some positive features, our experience was marred by several issues that made it difficult for us to fully enjoy our stay. We would not recommend this hotel to other travelers looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience in Koh Samui.

I stayed almost a week and i understand no hotel is perfect, including this hotel but i did the fair thing and had a good discussion with managenent about things of concern and was noted for changes on my next visit to the hotel. If i had to pick 1 item, it would be the A/C which could not be adjusted to cool, cold, warmer or even off.my room had no thermstat, no off switch and it was super cold to me.i suggusted adding fan adjustment switch but after freezing i found out best way was to turn off the power to the room ;-) i hope its updated on my next visit.its a nice hotel in a nice area but tourism is high in thailand now so peoole must be more patient these days.

Excellent customer service and friendly staff, the blue monkey bar has an extensive drink list and if Jintana is around, she will make sure you have a good time. The glow spa is amazing, love the treatments.

Really great place to stay. I liked the location a lot, and the hotel staff was super helpful with all of our requests. Being right on the beach was awesome, and you can get food and drinks delivered to your sunbed. The pools are great, the breakfast buffet is great, love the gym, and there’s even beachside massage. The only con was a faulty toilet that broke every day - otherwise this would have been 5 stars.

We had an absolutely amazing time at the Sheraton Samui. Accommodation was great. Big room with big bathroom and beautiful balcony view of the ocean. The food at both restaurants was also amazing! The garden pool is so nice and relaxing. I can’t wait to come back here again!

Sheraton Samui Resort - Ideal Resort for Family Travel Teams

Sheraton Samui Resort is a five-star resort that opened in 1987 and is one of the oldest resorts in Samui. Sheraton Samui Resort is one of the Chang Beer real estate and has good rooms compared to the past due to its large-scale renovation in 2015. It is a resort that is eco-friendly and has a comfortable feeling, and the total number of rooms is 141.

Sheraton Samui Resort is a beachfront resort bordering Chawengnoi Beach, one of the cleanest beaches in Koh Samui. The beach is shallow, the quality of sand is excellent, and there are not many people, so it provides an ideal environment for family trips. It has many facilities such as swimming pools, kids club, spa shop, restaurants, etc. The kids' club is big and there are many facilities that children would like.

In front of the Sheraton Samui Resort entrance, there is a mini-mart that closes at 6 p.m, and about 200 meters down from the resort entrance toward Chaweng Beach, there are Seven Eleven and two pharmacies. There are two local restaurants in front of the resort, and there is one small massage shop. The lobby has a classic atmosphere, and Sheraton's classic atmosphere is alive.

Comments: Guest rooms are fine, but you can enjoy the best beach in Samui island.

Don’t stay on a Saturday night. The beach party DJ plays all night and the music is so loud you won’t get any sleep!

Thank you for a wonderful time during our stay in Samui. With a little one, we spend more time on property than outside, so the great service, dining options and kid friendly play areas and pool were great to have. Lovely beach which is uncrowded and easy to access from the pool.
