A very social hostel with a very nice staff. Sayly prepared the best All You Can Eat Buffet for the Full Moon Party.
The location is good because you can do a few day trips from here and still not be too far away from the parties.
The roof terrace is a very good place to come into contact with others. There are various games and even a Playstation with various games.
I would definitely recommend it to any solo traveler during party time.
The rooms are not the best, but still sufficient and clean. Everyone has a small locker and there is enough space to put your backpack next to the bed.

This hostel has the greatest social atmosphere and amazing staff. The upstairs balcony is great relax on and meet other travellers. Sayly was the best:)

If you don't want to sleep in a party hostel but want to sleep near one, you're in good hands here. There are clean rooms and great chill areas on the ground floor and first floor. There is air conditioning in every room. Highly recommended

I like it. Good vibe for older travelers, late 20's etc. Very social. Funny owners. Good cooking.

A stay at See Sea Backpackers will enhance your Koh Phangan experience in the best way. I have just returned from an 8 day stay which occurred during a Full Moon party. Owners Dawn and Brian, fellow Canadians, bring warm Canadian hospitality to this backpackers abode.

Rooms: The rooms are rustic, this is a backpackers hostel after all. But the staff goes to great lengths to ensure the rooms and common areas are cleaned daily. The beds are comfortable after a long day exploring the island and the staff provide clean linens and towels for the beach and shower. See Sea has two common areas, including an upstairs back patio with plenty of comfortable bean bag chairs. This area is filled nightly with fellow world travellers exchanging stories, playing cards and sharing a drink. Friendships are formed here and group plans come together. Some of my best memories of KP started from this area.

Service: Dawn, Brian and all the staff at See Sea are extraordinary at making their guests a priority. They are well informed and connected to all that KP has to offer. They helped me daily and were always available for any questions. They also can promptly book tickets for the ferry and excursions around the island. They genuinely care about their guests and are enthusiastic about KP. One piece of advice, upon arrival, join the See Sea Backpackers Whatsapp group by scanning the QR code at reception. This will ensure you are always connected. Bottom line See Sea delivered big on service!

Location: See Sea is located in Ban Tai which is central to all of KP. It's approximately 5 km's to Haad Rin Beach where the famous monthly "Full Moon" party happens. Delicious street food, laundry, a 7-11, a night market and multiple coffee shops and pubs are all walkable from See Sea. Staff can arrange a motorbike rental from a shop they have vetted. The rental shop will pick you up and drop you off after your motorbike rental ends. Highly suggested to rent a motorbike (wear a helmet, don't drink and drive) See Sea is centrally located and in a highly walkable area.

In conclusion, See Sea Backpackers is everything you would want out of a backpackers hostel. It's fun, cozy, clean and in a fantastic location. The owners and staff are fun, fair and always wanting to provide their guests with a fantastic experience.

Nice place to stay for as long as you are on the island. Realy nice staff and realy chill balcony in the back of the house. You can get all your further tickets (ferry, plane, etc.) from here, they will book it for you for a cheaper prize. Also they will give you the best tips for your further journey. Was realy nice staying here.

I definitely enjoyed my stay at See Sea! Everyone made it feel like home (especially C). Everyone was super helpful whenever I needed assistance with something.

Fantastic hostel with fantastic staff. The owner, Brian, was such a pleasure to speak with. The receptionist, C, was my all time favorite human. She was super considerate and accommodating. The rooms are quite spacious and the bathrooms clean. Each bed had a bedside outlet, so that was a plus!

Stayed for 3 nights at this fun and relaxing hostel. Amazing staff especially Cee and the owners are very helpful and accommodating!
Bang for buck this is the place to be! Only concern is you can only use the water during certain times (due to island water restrictions). Thank you See Sea Team!

Loved the hostel! The staff is super friendly and gives their best for you to have a good time. Had a very memorable time and the water was running without any problems all day long!

I loved my stay at See Sea, the owners and staff are super friendly and accommodating, the hostel itself is the cleanest hostel I’ve ever stayed in, the bed was probably the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in with plenty of space in the room. It’s a super chilled hostel so you can escape from that chaos of Koh Phangan easily, but are still central to all the main parties (and pier/restaurants/shops) so it’s really easy to be amongst the chaos when you want to be…and obviously I mean chaos in a good way as I wouldn’t have spent the past 2 months in KP otherwise

Brian took us in last minute, accommodated us so well and was a pleasure to talk too as well as his wife during the day whilst we waited for our bus. It was perfect for what we needed and would stay here again for sure. Also, there’s a nice communal area to chill in upstairs which was a bonus too.

Pro tip: If you are digital nomad looking for a perfect place in the center of Koh Phangan, waiting for a place with solid internet connection and great working environment and hangout areas here is the perfect place. Ver comfy beds, private lockers, quite and clean hostel and very friendly staff and worth every penny you pay. Do not hesitate …book it

The hostel has amazing vibe especialy because of the friendly couple who run the place. There are many activities and tours which you can join every day, so perfect place for solo travellers. Recommended

Best Hostel we've been so far.
Owners Matty and Sunny are the most hospitable hosts I've come across. They will help you with anything and they as well as the the staff will always ask you what's up and if you need help with something.
Travis will give you great pointers as to where to go on the island and even does some pre-exploring himself to make sure he recommends you the nicest spots.
Kaka won't mind helping you lift heavy stuff and he is a great cook, try his Burmese salad and fried rice!

I love coming downstairs in the morning and be greeted with a "good morning, how are you! " you're never lonely here.

They also organize tons of fun stuff such as: trivia quizzes, arcade and pool night out, crazy funny themed parties, scavenger hunts across the island, cozy bbqs etc.

You will find a new family when you come here. We extended our stay 3 (!) times because of the great atmosphere and the love we've received. Thank you guys. <3

Amazing hostel, amazing people.
Rooms look great and are clean, so is the bathroom. Small bar downstairs so you can have a beer and relax.
The hosts are by far the best part of the hostel.

Stayed here with friends for the full moon party. The rooms were clean and the staff was very accommodating. They helped us out with renting bikes and organized all kinds of cool activities around the Island. Forgot my passport when I left the hostel, but the staff found a way to send it to my next place of stay. Would definitely recommend this place!
