Santiburi Golf Course reviews
31 Beautiful, very mountainous and partly extremely narrow course. For me - good mid handicapper - the first round was disastrous, but got better and better, knowing the course after a couple of rounds. Be prepared to lose balls, as at most holes fairway not hit means your ball is gone in the jungle, creeks, rocks, partly guarded by cobras. But on a good day you'll enjoy the challenging holes and the stunning views from nearly all holes.
Food at the restaurant was excellent (we only tried local Thai dishes but loved it). And the Caddies mostly "professional" and good. Thank you especially Ms. Fon for your excellent and friendly caddiying.
During our stay over New Year 2021/22 there was no issue to book tee times as due to Covid there just wer not too many tourists in Samui, even during those holidays. We will play there again!
P. S. We were told that some of the greens were under repair and prices wer a bit discounted because of that. But was okay and not too bad. Still quite fast and predicatable breaks.
The best hidden golf gem in the region.
Caddies were excellent.
Free buggy with the round.
Stunning views from the club house.
Final hole par 3 with a horseshoe green which will test the nerve!
Some excellent holes. Not too much water but enough to make your nerves jangle!
I want to visit again.
Beauty to another level. This gold course is hidden. Away in the hilly regions of Koh Samui. A pure site for sore eyes and extremely well maintained. If you are a golf fan, it is a must visit with your friends or family!
Had a great day here today what a cracking course caddies are very knowledgeable about the course. Very well looked after fairways and greens. Some very challenging blind holes and tight fairways greens are a nightmare to reed but trust your caddie and you'll be fine shot 84 for my first time round. Will definitely be back.
Schön angelegt, bedingt präzises Spiel, Traumaussicht! Nur Mittwoch 's und vor 7 Uhr
Ist der Preis akzeptabel, sonst zu teuer!
The 18 hole championship golf course at the “Santibuti Samui Country Club” (Par 72 and 6.930 Yards) itself has a distinctive character and has been an essential stop on the PGA Asian Tour for many years. The fact that it has been harmoniously embedded into the natural mountain landscape only adds to this.
The coconut trees that are so typical of Koh Samui have been skillfully integrated into the course and also filled in with native tropical plants.
Every hole represents its own challenge. With the mountain landscape, there are steep uphill and downhill slopes that create “multiple playing levels”. The long winding fairways, as well as breathtaking views and bunkers, brings a different golfing experience.
Superb view from the northern hills of the island. However, the food was overly fried and tasteless.
Awesome view.a must try for a tuff golfer.front 9 is cool.back nine will make u sweat.totally an amazing course.cheers
I'd give this course six stars if I could. WOW! Spectacular is the only word to describe the layout. Course has literally been carved into the side of a mountain with elevation changes on just about every hole. 17th is postcard material with 631 yard par 5 snaking down the hill. Just fantastic. Full clubhouse setup with my caddie great on the day. If anyone has played the Plantation Course at Kapalua Hawaii, this is Asia's equivalent scenery wise. Bring your camera. A MUST play if visiting Samui.
Amazing course very challenging, beautiful surroundings believe in what the caddies tell u they know what they're on about
Course in excellent shape, greens, tees, fairways can't be faulted. Caddies were great, trust your caddie as reading the greens can be hard.
