Fantastic family fun. All Australians should go here. The elephants are well looked after and have a true sanctuary. You can help by visiting.

What an amazing place to learn about elephants and interact with them! The sanctuary has 16 elephants that staff saved from elephant shows and the logging industry, among others. They seem to be very well taken care of and happy, living as how elephants should close to the wild. The tour was very well organized and led by kind and knowledgeable staff who answered all kinds of questions. You get to feed and pet (in a gentle and respectful way) the elephants which is a surreal experience.

A great experience. It's nice to see that the elephants are doing very well there. Our German-speaking guide Bon was great! He was very personable and competent. But the other employees were also very friendly. My personal highlight was feeding the elephants. It was an unforgettable day!

Elephant Kingdom, great facility… Here elephants are bought out of captivity and treated very well… We have a super friendly German-Thai (Bon) as our tour guide. We learned a lot from him about Thailand, elephants and Buddhism… We are traveling with AIDA, but we booked the tour privately and it was 130% worth it.it's actually a shame that there HAVE to be facilities like Elefant Kingdom. Disturbed by what we humans expect other living beings to do

Another 1000 tank to Bon

Awesome, elephants are treated well, all elephants looking good, you can feed them, love to see that and they are living free, it's worth it to go there and support this project.

Really great elephant sanctuary! They take good care of the elephants here and want them to live happy and healthy. It was very interactive with the elephants, and our guide Aonna was super nice and informative. The vibe here is all round good, and I felt good supporting this business.

Hotel pickup and drop off was included as well as a vegetarian lunch.

Amazing people, amazing Mentality and amazing Elephants. This place brought us back, fully immersed with the here and now.

To pay love and respect to what beauty mother nature offers to the world. We feel blessed and honoured to have had this unbelievebly uncomprehensive experience.

These were one of the best moments of our life. The people we're so welcoming and pure. The cause they have is so loving.

If you are seeking a magical experience, look no further because Elephant Kingdom is more than you could imagine. The sanctuary which is in local hands is not only beautifully constructed but you can truly feel the love that goes into every aspect of the place. Starting with the keepers, who are not only kind-hearted and wonderful humans but are there because they love what they do and they want to build a genuine connection with those wonderful creatures. The guides - especially Gita (they are the best!) - have a special skill in transmitting information that both fuels your curiosity and also your heart. Gita hold a special place at my heart, so thank you for sharing your wisdom and passion for elephants. Last but not least, the founder who made it his courageous mission to save those elephants in need and give them an environment where they can flourish. Each person left life as they knew it behind it to share their love for elephants with strangers. It is truely magical connecting with the elephants there and hearing those wonderful stories from everyone who comes together there.

A great experience.
The elephants are safe and happy, all rescues too. The staff really care about the elephants- they know them all like their own family! So fortunate to have had this opportunity.

After extensive research on the most ethical elephant sanctuary in Koh Samui, I decided to visit this one during my recent holiday. I cannot put into words how wonderful the experience was and how well the elephants are cared for. This was the highlight of my whole holiday! All the staff are so friendly and it is so apparent how much they love their jobs and the good work they are doing. Big thank you to our guide for the trip Guita who was brilliant! In addition, the minibus that picks you up from the hotel and takes you back is so fancy! An absolute must to visit!

Best day of my life. Did the morning package 2 weeks ago. All 10 of us have never done an experience like this. Will never forget this moment. Thank you all

Gorgeous but ethically iffy. We had a great guide called Guita, and we got to feed and get up close with the elephants. It was concerning to hear that the staff don’t get paid and all are volunteers relying on tips - we paid £185 entry for 4 adults so you’d think they could pay the staff. Unless that’s a line. Although the elephants are, in theory, free range, they’re brought to you for pictures and encouraged to wash for pictures, which isn’t “free range”. But it’s better than most places - they aren’t chained up or hit (that we could see). It was sad to see “naughty boy” elephants isolated, which is beyond cruel, even if they are naughty. But like I say, a million times better than places where they offer rides etc.

Great elephant sanctuary. Good guide. The elephants seem to have a good life. The keepers do really get selected and they take care of their elephants. I highly recommend to take the full tour including making food and entering the area with petting the elephants.

An amazing day at the elephant kingdom, the host (Guita) was amazing and really made you fall in love with the elephants and experience itself. The team were extremely accommodating and went beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable time.

This is an AMAZING experience.

They welcome us with their free coffee, hot chocolate, green tea, bottled water and snacks. And share a short story about the elephant kingdom.

The work they do here is amazing, they have saved so many of these beautiful creatures and given them a better lives. We had a lovely day interacting with the elephants. We made food for them and fed them. The elephants seemed really happy and comfortable in their environment.

The staff were really pleasant and our pick up and drop off at hotel was ideal and on time!

The food was delicious and free drinks was a godsend in the heat before leaving.

All their elephants are rescued and you would be supporting such a beautiful cause by visiting this place!

This reserve is incredible! The elephants are clearly very happy & well cared for & all of the staff is passionate about what they do. As an elephant lover, i was very happy here! Unfortunately my entire family got crippling food poisoning hours after leaving & the only meal we had in common for the day was the meal served at Samui Elephant Kingdom. Apparently getting food-borne illnesses has been big this week in Koh Samui so I don’t entirely blame them! But just something to look out for, maybe go on the tour but don’t eat

Under new ownership the elephants are able to enjoy life without working. You get to prepare food and then feed the elephants on multiple occasions. The staff are friendly and very experienced. Lunch was freshly prepared
Would visit again!
