Sail Rock Divers

Excellent center! I took a dive with Hannah. I had finished my open water course the day before with a different center and was a bit scared of my first 18m dive. The dive went very smooth and was very enjoyable thanks to Hannah and the 20+ m visibility we were lucky to had on that day. Hannah was very experienced, professional and passionate about scuba diving. I quickly gained confidence with her!

I have just finished my first open water course with amazing Antonio and had the time of my life! I went from being absolutely scared of jumping into the pool, to feeling very comfortable diving in the diving site and the ocean. Antonio did a great job in teaching me everything and calming me down when needed and was very patient. Also, Sail Rock offers courses which are not packed with people, so you can get as much attention as you need!
In addition, Rachel and Caroline were our address to anything we needed whether finding a doctor, a dentist, consulting with them about sea sickness, etc.
The atmosphere on the Sail Rock campus is very nice and calm, there's a bar, pool table, some card games and you can also take Muai Thai classes there which is super cool!
I highly recommend Sail Rock and will definitely come back when possible!

Came here to do my padi open water and open water advanced, had no dive experience before this and with a little communication, they sorted the courses to take less than a week.

They have their own training pool, air compressors, their own boat for daily trips out to Sail Rock (the actual rock, also called Haad Rin) and even their own bar, complete with snooker table! In the event of a power cut (it happens sometimes on Koh Phangan) - they even have a generator to keep the lights on and the water flowing.

The accommodation is very nice, every room is equipped with an air conditioner so you can sleep easy no matter how adjusted you are to the local climate and free tea and coffee to help you feel ready for a day of diving. All kit for diving is provided, hydration fluid is available on the boat and there is even a daily serving of cake! Breakfast and lunch is served on board the boat on day trips and instructors help to fill in logbooks after dives.

Overall, great atmosphere, loads of great people both regulars, locals and first timers all enjoying the best that Phangan has to offer. Also there are dogs present so if you're allergic, it's worth talking it out with them before you arrive and one gets all friendly with you; though generally you will find them very docile in the heat.

I would be disappointed to see if I didn't come back to do my dive master here, at one of only a few career development centres in Thailand. Koh Tao has the majority of the traffic, but the quality is all with Sail Rock Divers.
