Sai Daeng Beach

When we went, there was no one, very quiet beach. It offers nothing, the sand has many dead corals, daughters, pebbles. The water a little cloudy.

I don't recommend it

Just got kicked out of the beach, because I didn't pay some made up beach fee of 100THB

Fun road to travel on a scooter. At the end of a steep descent you arrive at the beach. Reserved and not crowded.
I highly recommend rubber shoes for swimming because there is a lot of coral and it is very easy to get scratched or hurt.
On the beach there is a beautiful bar to have a drink or food.
Also on this beach, among the rocks attached to the shore we saw a small black tip shark!

Toller Strand bei Resort aber öffentlich. Sehr ruhig, gut zum schnorcheln. Liege für 150 Baht / Tag völlig fair. Preise in Ordnung, gutes Essen. Nur Früchteshakes mit 180. - Baht einwenig über dem Preis

Great beach for snorkeling, I’ve seen 2 sea turtles within 2 hours of being there.
Otherwise great corals which are also easy to see from the surface

Beautiful beach with free access. There is a plenty of shade. The snorkelling wasn’t so good. A lot of dead corals. When we were there the water wasn’t clear too, so wasn’t a great visibility. We saw the usual parrot fishes and trigger fish too.

I had the whole beach to myself. They have kayaks for rent also. Great place to hang out. Loungers are also available.

Great beach for snorkelling! Lots of coral on the left hand side with loads of fish we saw lots of barracuda, puffer fish, triggerfish and harlequin sweetlips and other common ones like parrotfish
The coral is quite shallow though so I’d wear water shoes just to make getting in and out easier
You can park your bike at the top and then it’s quite a steep walk down with lots of steps but the view where you park is amazing

Really gorgeous, picturesque beach. Water was crystal clear, lovely for snorkeling on the left side as you look out to sea; there is a nice shelf of coral and out by the black rock I spotted quite a large black-tipped reef shark. There is a bar on the right hand side which serves decent enough food and a beer.

Water muddy and with a lot of partikles even black oil that sticked on my leg.

I got sick after the swim I dont know of it its due to the water pollution found almost everywhere. Just so sad that it is allowed to fish un limited and to just throw what ever you like in the beautiful ocean. Just look at all the oil pollution in mae haad.

It's a nice small bay rock pooling and snorkeling would be good here. Unfortunately no where to get a drunk and don't be fooled by the 20b parking fee lady. Ignore the sign and park further down. Sneaky. Also be careful of glass on the beach.

Wunderschönes Traumhotel. Der Besitzer schaut überall persönlich nach dem rechten und ist immer gesprächig mit den Urlaubern. Der Infinitypool mit der Poolbar ist der Hammer! Mit direktem Blick aufs Meer kann man dort gemütlich Cocktails im Wasser genießen. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen und gemütlich.

Sandy (well, sandy-er) beach compared to the coral and pebble beaches around the island. Hills are a bit fatal but if you have the skill to get down them then you'll be fine. Nice little food and cocktail spot there as well. Definitely try laying in the rope bed!

Sehr ruhig und wenig los. Klares Wasser ab und zu mal junge Haie. Manchmal auch ein ausgewachsener. Aussicht auf Koh Phangan Koh Samui und dem Insel Nationalpark.

Absolutely loved this beach and it became my favorite of all on the island. It’s a bit remote but with a motorbike you can easily reach it in no time. Very few people, crystal clear water, great for snorkeling, many kinds of fish just a few meters off the shore. Beautiful.

Nearly no shade options, no amenities and beach water is dirty. We spent one hour here and gave up.
Even though it is free, we felt it is not worth the time.

Beautiful little beach- quite choppy waters compared to the rest of the island, but theres some good snorkelling to be had. Definitely more quiet than sariee beach.

One of the best! Big and good waves, the only thing is that you have yo be careful with the little rocks

A scooter nightmare!
The beach is nice not more - but is it worth a possible crash going back up the steep road? We are lucky to only have minor injuries but I would definitely recommend avoiding this dangerous road
