I rented a scooter for a week.
No worries, I took out scratch insurance.
The boss opened early so I could return the scooter before taking the ferry.

Very easy process. Owner asked for 3000 baht for deposit and when I said I needed to go to the ATM he said 2000 was OK. He went through everything with me and encouraged me to take pics before I left. They asked for the tank to be filled upon return which cost me an extra 130 bhat, which was fine. The bike was a bit beaten but ran absolutely fine. Highly recommended

A great place to rent a motorcycle from! A very cute guy, loves Israelis. Get insurance for scratches in another 100 baht and drive with peace of mind.

STOP! I have been to Ko Tao many times in 2020 and 3 weeks in 2023. I never usually write any reviews - This is the most trusted rental shop on the island. Having read a couple of negative reviews from people who clearly don’t understand ferry bookings and scratches on brand new scooters I wanted to write a review. The owner is a friendly guitar player. Good price on the island and the owner is a trustworthy person which is hard to find on Ko Tao at other rental shops. You can rent snorkels also. You can also get scratch insurance on scooters. Me and my friends always use this shop when I am on the island.

A local cafe recommended this shop to me and I've got to say.they have the one of best rental motorbikes IMO when it comes to good quality. I travel between islands quite a fair bit and I know a thing or two when it comes to this. Often times I ended up with good looking bikes but when you actually ride it, it's clunky af - HOWEVER. It's not the case for this shop! The owner "O" takes really good care of the bikes and super friendly as well!

The ticket lady was also super helpful - like I said I travel between islands a lot. So I had to just tell her my travel schedule and she arranged boat & taxi tickets for me seamlessly.

We hired a bike and snorkeling gear from 'O', yes that really was his name.
Nice pleasant young man who explained everything in detail including his scratch insurance. We opted to not have it. The price was reduced as we hired for 11 days.
The snorkels we took back after 1 day because they leaked.
The bike was brilliant and got us up and down some really steep hills on the island.
Returned without fuss and deposit returned.
No extra charges. All in all a satisfying experience. Thank you.

We rented a scooter from RPG. At first we rented a small blue one but after realising that the hills of Koh Tao were quite treacherous and there were two of us on one scooter we wanted to get another scooter with a little more oomph. Luckily Jeen Jeen the man who I believe owned the place was happy to accommodate with no extra fee. Further we decided we wanted to extend how long we had the moped for and this process was hassle free. We had no problems what so ever!

Greedy and rude staff! We rented motorbikes, mask and fins by them, spending around 1000THB with them and they even made us pay a black and white photocopy. We felt like walking notes to their eyes. No personal service or humanity of any sort.
