Raja Ferry Port

They usually have tickets, no need to prebook. But their shops are quite old and not so well-maintained.

Thailand is known for being the worst in many things, add ferries run by overpriced monopoly Raja to the list. There is no customer service whatsoever. They will over charge you tickets and say nothing. Their boat fleet would have already been sent to junk yards if operated in most countries. The check in gate operators do nothing to help you get in que properly. Petrol fumes pollute the air you breathe, air-conditioning is either too hot or freezing cold. Toilets are disgusting and of course no soap. Half the time the ferries are late. At least they appear to have plenty of lifejackets. Have a pleasant journey

Great Trip for a great price! The ferry and also the bus were on time. After the ferry we got a snack and the bus was very comportable so that we could sleep very well. The staff of raja ferry were very kind.

1 1/2 hours to Koh Phangan. The raja ships fleet is not up to date but still quite nice for a ferry transfer. The prices are similar with the other ferry companies. Easy handling at the ticket counter and there is a small mini market on the ship as well.

ออกจากสมุยมา ว่าจะไปเกาะพะงันต่อเปลี่นยใจขึ้นฝั่งดีกว่า มาซี้อตั๋วราคาเดิม 180 บ. ไปเข้าไลน์ พอเรือมาเอาขึ้นเลย มานั้งสักพักเรือก็ออกสภาพเรือเหมือนๆกันเกือบทุกที ค่อนข้างเก่า ตามสภาพอายุงาน เดินดูไปทั่วๆ เห็นอุปกรณ์ช่วยชิวิตเยอะครับ ถึงจะมองดูเก่าไปหน่อย แต่ก็มีจำนวนมาก เรือยาง เสื้อชูชีพ เท่าที่ดู ดู มากพอเลยละ ถ้าจัดหามาใหม่กะต้องลงทุน เป็นที่เข้าใจได้ ก็ถือว่าเครระดับหนึ่ง อย่างน้อยๆก็ผ่านการตรวจสภาพมาแล้วอะครับ 555

The ferry can carry approx 50 cars at a time.
If you book in advance online you don’t have to wait and can leave on the ferry at the time you select while booking, otherwise you can come directly and take a ticket and get in queue for loading your car. Most probably you would get a place in the next ferry but if there is a rush or you reach late you may have to wait another hour for the next ferry.

New and clean port facilities! We used to go across using Seatran Ferry but due to some circumstances, we had to use Raja Ferry services. No regrets! Reasonable ferry seats

Renovated and new buildings, ferry service and pick-up/drop-off vans were always good on time. Online booking works like a charm.

Notoriously late. Made me miss by bus by an hour and half and I had to stay in suratthani for a night. Bus and Hostel money wasted.

NEW! There is a Black Canyon Coffee Shop here Coffee, Tea, etc.and Sandwiches plus some bakery, worth a visit (imho)

I came here two times, first time, in the morning, l came to here, they said advance booking need One day before, or you must come to here for waiting. So in the afternoon, I came here second time, 4 PM, when I drive onto the boat, It was almost 8: 30 PM. OMG, waiting my Q, 4Hours. Very terrible experience.

The gateway of Samui to Donsak and Koh Phangan, full of facilities such as ticket counter, passenger lounge, minimart, coffee shop, restaurant, , restroom and ATMs. This place is very crowed during the high season thus the customer should make a reservation at least 1 day before travel to avoid the long queue of transportation. Open daily from 5 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Worst ferry service ever. Nobody knows what they are doing. Queues are too long and some cars just cut in line. The most complex, stupid, unorganized ferry service I have ever seen!

Boats can be very late and people are unaware of the destination! Confirm at least three times that your boat is going where it's supposed to

The plays is not a five star place directly but it works with AC on the most whaling places before you enter the "Raja Ferry" and go out to Kho Samui
