Pyramid Yoga Center

Pyramid Yoga Center, located in the middle of the jungle is on a hill with a steep road, demands caution for inexperienced motorcycle drivers. I've only been once but had a great time. Max's sound meditation workshop was refreshingly authentic and fun. Among various workshops, it stood out. Max is an excellent teacher. Highly recommend his class

Situated a little up on the hillside, this place is truly beautiful. The pyramid shala offers a fantastic atmosphere, which is particularly lively during their Sunday ecstatic dances—highly recommended events.

A word of caution for those planning to drive up— the road is quite steep so be careful.

Beautiful space in the forest, loved the Meditative Yoga and Yin Yoga classes with Elle, she’s a great teacher & very kind and friendly. Would definitely recommend:)

I visited Koh Phanang during my Thailand vacation partially to meet an old mate who happens to be one of the owners of pyramid. Along with his father, he has dedicated an extraordinary amount of time into making it a place of spiritual learning, education, relaxation and more. He cares about his community, takes care of his people, and puts on an incredible dance every Sunday with great music, clean food and fun people. It's well worth the experience!

I'm not sure you guys realize, but this part of the island is NOT about loud parties.
While the whole lot of you are having the time of your life dancing away in the most spiritualistic fashion imaginable, we (the rest of the valley) are listening to super loud DUM DUM DUM DUM music we never asked for.
All of us (and I'm talking about roughly 50 properties, and a good 200 ppl) would highly appreciate if you could:
- turn your loudspeakers to a direction AWAY from the valley
- turn the bass down
- build walls that have ANY level of sound proofing.

We attended the ecstatic dance event here and it was absolutely magical. The participants, the staff, the drink and food options, the music, the spirituality and the overall vibe…. Words cannot describe how much I enjoyed myself during this event. Thanks for this amazing experience.

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience with pyramid. We travelled in the rain season and booked the yoga course and stay quite spontaneously. The space was empty and even though we received the yoga schedule and we were told that there will be a 8am classes nobody appeared. We were told that the yoga teacher will get fired (seemed like an over reaction) - but we also think it was made up. As the second class at 10am also didn’t happen.
We believe that they just wanted to make some extra cash while the center was actually closed. We left right away.

I really enjoyed my stay at Pyramid Yoga. Bruce and Katie made me feel so welcome from the start and provided me with some really helpful tips and excellent recommendations. For example, they arranged a rental scooter for me and gave me a list of must-sees on the island. They also organise daily events from yoga classes to sound healing, ecstatic dance and mantra chanting. The place is on top of a hill, really in the jungle so it’s very nourishing for the soul because you’re immersed in nature’s bosom. The views on the sea are breathtaking. Breakfast is prepared with love every morning and personal preferences are taken into account. I would definitely return ️

The pyramid structure with the wooden platform, surrounded by nature, are just the best settings for a depending Journey into myself.

I have spent so many hours dancing here.
I have meet so many interesting people here.
So many experiences and emotions.

I had so much fun with the ecstatic dance session on Sunday. Everyone expresses themselves from heart and moment. It was one of the best moment for me in Thailand

Amazing place!
I went for an ecstatic dance a Sunday morning and had a lot of fun!
The schedule says it is at 10 but it really started at 11, and when I left around 2pm people were still dancing

We didn’t even get to yoga because our bike fell halfway up the hill. The kind people of pyramid provides first aid kit and helped my girlfriend disinfect the wound. I’m leaving tomorrow but I will come back soon!

Amazing teachers! Unbelievable experience! Highly recommended to anyone who wants to explore the true healing powers of yoga in beautiful Thailand:)

Communication through their website was absolutely smooth.they respond in timely manner.my partner and I went there three times and it was amazing to learn yoga poses from Lakshabyed. He is really great and you can see that he is really professional yoga instructor.he speaks inspirational thoughts during practice.we also met the french girl only once who teaches hatha yoga at 4pm.she has soft voice.they offer vegan food at their restaurant which we never tried. I don’t know why.it is the best time to do yoga during low season as you will get one on one coach during practice.the area is in the middle of the jungle where you hear trees swaying when windy and is very relaxing! Bring mosquito sprays if you do 4pm yoga as you will find them there during that time:) we would definitely come back next year! We were only one week here in Koh Phangan and we were amazed by many yoga places this island offers.thanks Pyramid Yoga team.

This place is incredible, I’ve made two class of vinyasa yoga. The one who started at 7 am. The yogi master look like a shaman and the class was so spiritual and interesting. I practice yoga since five years, and he open a new door into my mind. Thanks you for everything, i Will come back for made a retreat. Because of you I’ve found my personal temple.

Beautiful place. Scary entrance if you are driving your motorcycle. Super dangerous and breathtaking. The complex looks beautiful, just in the middle of the jungle. Be aware of bugs, insects and mosquitoes, they are everywhere - full of them - However every place where you can practice yoga is well covered and protected. The sound temple is amazing, its acoustic is really really magical.

Lovely place in the jungle with ocean view bungalows, yoga classes and great healthy food. And the owners are amazing, super helpful and friendly! I wish we’d come back one day!
