Pukki's motorbike rental reviews
19Friendly, HONEST. Bikes are in good condition (good brakes!). 5k deposit for older bikes. Passport for brand new bikes.
I found the staff here to be super helpful. I tried two other places that wouldn’t budge on ฿250 per day, but these guys offered me ฿200 per day for a very new scooter.
I had to turn it in early. She agreed to meet me at the shop one hour past close and also gave me a ride back to my hotel - without charge.
Highly recommend!
Very nice and efficient:) cost 200 bth per day. Passport for deposit (closed in an envelope) Equipment in very good condition.
We were walking in spontaneously and were renting a motorbike for a couple of hours. The staff was very kind, generous, uncomplicated, and talkative. We had a quite new motorbike and a good time - thank you very much!
We were extremely satisfied with Pukki's. Good service; she even made time to open her shop for us before opening time so we could catch our ferry on time.
5 stars.
Passport deposit for new models
5000 baht deposit for old models
Took an old model for 200 baht per day, everything went well.
Unfortunately there is not 0 star to give to this service. I am very surprised for the good reviews.
I negotiated to rent a bike online and chatted with this person Pukki - the owner - who agreed to meet me at the pier. First time in my life on Koh Phangan, I had no idea there are 2 piers. And she didn't ask where I am docking. So arriving at the pier after a rough boat ride, turns out she is waiting at the other pier. She calls and starts shouting: where are you, fuc, shi! I was shocked!
She hangs up, calls again and starts to order: you come to my shop by taxi!
I have no words for this kind of rudeness. In my many years coming to Thailand - and first time to Phangan - this is the worst experience ever!
I just needed to share this, because it needs to be out there. Please be careful with this person
The bike worked great and I got the deposit back promptly plus a ride to the pier. Pukki was very friendly. Definitely recommend. As one of the other reviews mentions, makes sure it’s Pukki’s shop and not the one opposite!
Bike was fine, lady working there seemed angry all the time for absolutely no reason, very unfriendly
Everything worked great! I've already been to several scooter rental companies. This was by far the friendliest and best organized rental company. I would come back to this rental company at any time.
The employees are very friendly. There were no problems whatsoever. In the end they even drove me to the pier.
The best rental on the island!
Very easy to rent a motorcycle and at a very good price. I didn't have any problems and it was very fast and efficient. The bikes were in very good condition.
The scooter was in a very good condition and we got a discount for renting it over a week. We payed 250 THB a day for a Honda Klick 150i which is a very good price! After returning the scooter, the nice lady even drove me back to the peer. 5/5 would rent again.
For everybody who wants to complain about Scam:
There is a high chance, that you actually want to complain about the shop across the street. These are different shops.
The one across the street is called
"Joy Computer"
- I guess do deceive reviewers because they rent motorcycles
JOY COMPUTER/ MOTORBIKE SHOP are SCAMMERS.
Their Tactic is to scream at customers until they pay for damages, they most of the time didn't cause.
My Helmets chinstrap broke because of RUST, while putting it on. This cost me 2000 Bath. Ridiculous
Can't say anything about this shop (Pukki), I was just about to comment on the wrong one (like a lot of people) and wanted to set things straight.
For “older” scooters, there is no passport as a deposit but only 5000 Bath.
The scooter drove smoothly and the transaction was fair and friendly!
Reliable staff, despite a deposit that requires a passport, they didn't try to sting us in any way, reasonable price (200 baht per day)
Perfect we were able to make a deposit (5000 bht) rather than leaving our passport. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. No worries when putting the scooter back down. Great experience we recommend
A super serious place! The owner speaks English and she's fair. We rented 16 bikes all of them were fine, and they didn't fine us or anything.
Would put 0 but unable to. Demanded passport for deposit and this was the start of a disaster. Good initial price but stung at the end from a tiny scratch. No wonder where they get their profits from. I even left a full tank and a tiny scratch on the head light left me £200 out of pocket. Won’t let her ruin my holiday tho. Onto the next.
Absolutely terrible!
Would put 0 if possible, rode the bike for a week and didn't even have a scratch yet the manager found a reason to charge me 3000 baht for a scratch on the back panel which I proved the photo wasn't me!
Terrible!
