We arrived at about 6 pm and did not meet anyone in the Temple. We lit candles, wrote a note, and left a donation ourselves. Wonderful Temple, you feel at home.
On the stairs near the toilet we saw a cage with a rabbit, the drinking bowl was completely empty: (They poured drinking water for him, and when the rabbit got drunk, he began to ask for food, specifically hay from a bag. He ate with pleasure. Please, do not leave the animal without water!

They didn’t even know that there was an Orthodox church on Samui. Added this place to your telegram channel @samuitv

Such a bright, beautiful temple. Very nice place. For Easter you can buy Easter cakes and colored eggs here.

This is a Russian Orthodox Church and Perhaps one of the most beautiful churches in the Island of Koh Samui watching over the Gulf of Thailand. You may find many symbols actually telling the story of God’s Ascension praising Jesus Christ and the story of Jerusalem and Mariah Magdalena.

The prayers in the Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, Koh Samui; take place in the Russian language, it is possible to conduct baptism and wedding ceremonies.

On 13 June 2013 the Church was opened by Archimandrite Oleg Cherepanin whom is the representative of the Russian Orthodox Church.
