Phantip Night Food Market reviews
48This is definitely the best market in Thailand that I have ever been! So many different options that you can try and everything is very cheap. My favourites: shrimps in tempura, sushi, mango salad, pad see u, mango smoothie, mango sticky rice and so many others! Really recommend it!
Pantip is a stable for anyone visiting the island. Try whatever looks good for you, and get the coconut shrimp if you can find it!
Typical Asian market.
Recommended.
Good food and drinks.
Good atmosphere.
The fruit seller at the beginning and the fruit shake make a face at us Falangs as if they were paying for it out of their own pockets. No idea what they experienced there with tourists, but friendliness is different in Thailand. Definitive. The ingredients aren't the best either.

Pantip Market
The Pantip Food Market is always worth a visit, whether you're looking for a quick bite or a more indulgent meal. You can indulge yourself by sampling various dishes from the numerous stalls. There is something for everyone, and the prices are great. For those who don't mind crowds and bustling environments, the market is definitely a welcomed activity. You can also find a spot to sit down and observe the lively atmosphere.
I highly recommend trying a fruit shake, kebab, mango sticky rice, and chicken skewers - they are truly delicious. However, individuals with anxiety might want to consider avoiding this place as it can be overwhelming at times.
Lots of food choices, and a great place to get take away food. Can be difficult to find a seat in peak times.
Amazing and cheap food market in koh phangan! We really enjoyed the soup stalls, the shumai dumplings, the custard donuts, and more. Good variety and authentic Thai food. We went back twice!
Excellent place to do for inexpensive food and lots of options. Second stand from the front, middle isle, left of the juice stand was the best. Huge portion sizes and tasty food for 60-80 baht. The Tom yum fried rice and green curry fried rice are super good.
Here is one of the must-visit places in Koh Phangan, with many Thai and around-the-world dishes, you can dine in or take away.
The market starts around 4-5 pm. Busy around 6.30-8 pm.
Super Streetfood-Location.
You can find very delicious things here at the food market in Kho-Panghan. From delicious fresh made smoothies to a variety of tasty Thai delicates. My favorite booth is from this lady and her finger licking crabs.
There are lots of delicious food stalls, and there are places to sit. There are a number of small restaurants recommended within the building.
Small food market in the evening, with a few vendors for local food. Don’t expect something huge, it’s a small market surrounded by a few restaurants.
Great place for delicious and affordable food, there’s a good selection of stalls and some permanent stalls with covered seating.
The fried chicken on your way in and to the left was amazing!
There are three gems in this market:
1.the organic farm kitchen (by Chana Masala), and their massaman curry is, to me, the best on the island.
2.the pad Thai cart held by a man with a beard (on the market place, against the wall). Pad Thai is wrapped in omelette, that's very cheap and tasty
3.the sushi parlour. It may seem risky to eat sushis made by non-japanese on a night market, but they have enough clients for you to be sure the products are fresh. It's very cheap and of pretty decent quality.
Compared to other night markets, it's a joke. But still has a decent selection if you need cheap food and market vibes
What can I say? It's COVID time in KPN, meaning services and open restaurants are scarce. These days, this is THE PLACE to go to eat. Good prices, good food.
Best place to find decent cheap food and drinks: thb30 for a fruit smoothie, fried chicken starting at thb20, fresh salads starting at thb50, sushi for thb10/pc, etc.
Lots of variety - seems like a lot of good quality food stands (great salmon salad vendor and good falafel vendor). In food court, vegetarian and Greek food shops as well as standard Thai.
