PETIT GOURMAND SAMUI reviews
12A pretty corner of France in Samui. Cuisine like our grandmothers', served with a smile. Top.
I must say that I am a little disappointed. It was my birthday so I thought I would have a good dinner. Chose the boeuf bourguignon which was bland to my taste. Disappointing! Tarte au citron very nice and a glass of the more expensive wine was nice.
I was the only person in the restaurant which didn't help the atmosphere.
Good home cooked French food. The wine was also well chosen. I had beef bourginone with mashed potato and Green salad. The baguette was crispy and delicious
Great restaurant with good fresh produce and homemade dishes. Attentive service! Thank you for this good time
Really good restaurant.
Everything is home made. I Felt I was in a small village in France.
Service perfect
Food awesome
Quantity, its like if you eat in your grandma place.
The chef even come to your table to see if everything is ok.
If you want to eat traditional french food just run there.
Unexpectedly great and the owners are amazing people! Earlier that day they picked us up on a mountain road after an unfortunate scooter incident, and when they mentioned they owned a French restaurant, we were intrigued (not to mention grateful) so we thought we would give it a shot. So thankful we did! The fondue is outstanding and all of our main courses were simply amazing: the Beef Bourguignon was a standout but, really, everything they brought us was superb.
Seriously… go try it. You won’t be disappointed
Something special on Had Lamai Road, amazing service, friendly owners Fred and Pin. The food was incredible, we had raclette as well as the daily special - oysters with grilled cheese.it was incredible- the food is all home made and tastes delicious. Couldn’t fault the meal at all, plus the friendly environment, relaxed atmosphere added to an enjoyable evening. Local rum and a pool table made it more fun too. Highly recommended for something hidden away on Koh Samui
Simply out of this world! When you visit Thailand you first want to eat authentic Thai food. You might feel like one day you crave a bit of western food…. But then you feel like having a really special meal! This is the place to go. We ate here for Christmas Eve and the team could not have done anymore to make us feel welcome. I have lived in London for 15 years and working in the publishing industry has meant I have been lucky enough to eat at the best restaurants London has to offer. Trust me…you would be disappointed if you didn’t dine here when coming to Samui.
Hidden gem. Delicious and authentic. Chef is a super jolly Frenchman who clearly loves good food. Great vibe. The beef bourguignon is a must as is the duck. We never thought our favourite restaurant on Samui would be French.
Excellente nourriture française traditionnel pour pas cher.une bonne adresse tenu par un couple franco thaï très sympa, et même parfois des karaoke
We were looking for some interesting restaurant with Good food. We were walking along the street and in one moment we saw this place. First think: French food in Tailand? What?
But we came and we don t regret it. Great food, atmosphere and free bilard!
And The owner is really kind:)
We went out full, it was very tasty. Thanks!
Cute, small spot with a pool table. We went here for with a rather large group of friends for cold cut platters and wine. Great selection, home-made pates, terrines and cheese. Recommended.
