OK2 Bungalow

This guesthouse is not for everyone. Already it is better to book directly on site or via WhatsApp with mamajim! Who is very nice. 800baths per night and 700baths beyond 3 days. If you pay more you may be disappointed with the service.

For the price above, it's really a very good deal, we literally have our feet in the water at the best snorkeling spot on the island. Every morning we got up around 6 a.m. To see sharks and turtles. Almost 100% observation when you know where to look: sharks at the launching point and turtles further in the bay on the flat coral.

There are obviously disadvantages at this price which may put off some people. No air conditioning, no hot water. The sheets are too old they should be changed. They are clean but dirty. The fans should be changed or at least cleaned. For children, safety around the pontoon needs to be reviewed.

Despite everything, I give it 5 stars because it's exactly what I expected from this accommodation, a little corner of isolated natural paradise at the water's edge.

Finally, the staff is very helpful, mamajim helped us obtain visas online, part of the process and by printing the documents for us. Scooter rental on site at 200baths and lingerie at 50baths per kg are also very nice.

Where I almost took away a star is that I have the impression that the shower drain is directly released onto the rocks.

The restaurant is good with a great view.

Good value for money. Every bungalow has a fantastic view. Quiet nights and great snorkel every day as good entrance to shark bay on site. A little rubbish here and there. Gives a Thailand feeling from decades ago. Beautiful, simple, functional. I come back!

Seafront bungalow, great view and environment. But the room is very small, very simple, not 5 star clean.

Sehr schöner Ort und freundliches Personal. Die Bungalows direkt am Wasser sind sehr zu empfehlen. Man wird jeden Morgen mit einem tollen Sonnenaufgang geweckt und kann direkt schnorcheln gehen. Es gibt kleine Haie und manchmal sieht man auch Schildkröten.
Perfekt für Menschen die Privatsphäre und Ruhe suchen.

My friend and I were travelling throughout Thailand and decided to make a stop in Koh Tao. We found the OK Bungalow on accident. We wanted to escape the herd of tourists so we kept walking until we found the bungalow. The employees were very friendly. Our room was basic but nice and clean. We enjoyed going to the main dining area for our meals. We had a great time!
