Nung House Khao Sok

Price/performance is right, if you want to pay little and don't expect much for just under €13, this is the place for you. The bed is comfortable and the fan does what it can. Unfortunately, the bathroom needs to be renovated (apparently the huts next to it are currently being renovated, so maybe ours wasn't renovated yet) unfortunately we also had crawling visitors. Otherwise the hotel is a bit off the main road.

The owners are super nice and helpful, we were very happy.

The food was also delicious.

Bungalows are not the most pleasant to stay in, but the guide prices were fair and the owner was kind.

The staff is very helpful with booking tours and the restaurant has friendly prices (opens at 730am). The bungalows are a little walk from the main road so it's quiet at night. We didn't have any noise. The room is big enough and there is a terasse with some chairs. They also offer tours and provide you water shoes and dry bags.

However, the room wasn't well cleaned for our arrival. There was a water bottle and a bag of cookies under the bed. The mosquito net also had some holes (not a major issue). The room wasn't cleaned once, not even the garbage during our stay.

Overall, it's great value for price.

We were staying in the resort nearby and we were coming here for breakfast. The food was good, nice service and the staff super friendly.

I would give an extra star if I could for the kittens behind the counter

A nice stay at the edge of the town. Not to pricy and the rooms are clean. Breakfast is not expensive and is very tasty. The people can help you book tours

Cheap, but not great. The room as a whole felt unclean. Ants had damaged the bed and there was still wood chips on the ground from it. The bathroom had some mold in several places. There was a bad smell in the room which we later discovered from the mosquito net. While it was by far the cheapest location available in Khoa Sok, we regretted not paying a little extra.

We had a very pleasant stay in the Nung House! It's run by a cute and kind family that's helped us out whenever we asked. The entire site is well kept and gorgeous, we felt very safe and comfortable in our bungalow. If you are afraid of smaller animals (mostly insects) you should choose one of the better bungalows and not the cheapest option. Ours had some open edges and corners where some insects (including cockroaches) got inside through during the rainfalls. But you should be aware that this is pretty normal as these houses are located pretty much in the jungle.
We dearly enjoyed being at the Nung House and highly recommend it.

I had a great stay at Nung House for a few days. The bungalow is clean, comfortable and very affordable. The balcony is very chill because of the beautiful garden which also has swings and a hammock. It's close to the entrance of the national park and to a coffee shop a few steps away.

The service is also amazing. The women are very attentive and they make you have a good stay in Khao Sok.

I also really liked their food. The fried rice is one of the best I've had in Thailand and it's a big portion. I also liked the fried chicken with chili sauce.

If there's one negative I'd write is that there isn't a fridge in the bungalow but they may allow you to store your drinks in their fridge.

I went to breakfast, lunch and dinner several times, it is super recommended, very good attention, clean and accessible link with a beautiful park.

We didn't sleep there but had few meals there and it's worth going - very tasty food also "westernish" if you prefer. Good prices and good service
And i llked the Green curry there

We were staying in another resort but came here every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner because the food was much better and cheaper. Its impossible to find cheap food where locals eat in Khao Sok because of the nature of the town, but this was a great spot regardless. We also organised all our travel and excursions through them as they were very helpful. All the staff are brilliant.

It all depends on which house you'll get. There are brand new ones and really old ones with bad mattresses, gross bathrooms and roaches. We've got the old one (Thai house). Other than that it is all normal and fine (bar, staff etc.). They'll book trips and transfers for you as well.

Amazing place, poeple are so friendly. If u want a jungle tour they will show u everything in the forest without any rush its so relaxed here

Such a lovely place to stay! The bungalows are so nice and the owners are sweeties! We had such a lovely time here. The bed was so so very comfortable, like difficult to wake up in the mornings because the bed is just that cozy.

Everything is clean, basic but functionnal, food is good, the area is well maintained!

Basic rooms but all you needed, fantastic location lovely premises and cool dog! Good club house/ restaurant to chill out in! Loved khao sok!
