Nora Beach Resort & Spa

We really enjoyed our time at Nora, the staff were lovely and we're always there to help. We stayed in a villa with a private pool and it was very clean and comfortable.

Good hotel. Yes, a little tired, but everything worked, cleaning was on time, the staff was friendly. I would love to visit the hotel again. We lived in Nora villa overlooking the garden.

Wonderful caring thoughtful staff who have mastered the attention to every detail. I was greeted and welcomed like family. Shown around the room and resort. Magnificent pool beside a breathtaking beach. Impeccable manicured grounds. Gorgeous gardens ponds trickling water.a beautiful restaurant with great live music and seaside views. You will not be disappointed. Staff is very well informed about the needs of their guests. They even prepared a little breakfast box for my early flight departure and made sure I was at the airport on time. Worth it!

Good place to stay more secure staff available 24 hrs. Good parking area staff behavior are good and supporting highly recommended. All over satisfied with what they charged.

Hotel is okay rooms are clean and spacious but all the rest is horrible. The bar is not appealing, the pool is really to hot and the beach is not that nice is front. I’ve been in Thailand over a month now in different hotels and this was easily the worst breakfast I ever had. Anyways, for the price, this is not that bad but for me it doesn’t deserve more than 3 stars.

Was excellent, not now. Breakfast menu very limited. Needs maintenance all over. Under staffed. English speaking is limited. This was our 3rd time BUT never again.

Bungalow was amazing.great for couple and the outdoor shower after the ocean was nice too. Breakfast was nice and gardeners were friendly.

ให้รายละเอียดขอใบกำกับภาษีไว้ตั้งแต่วันเข้าพัก พอถึงตอนเช็คเอาท์ยังไม่ได้เตรียมไว้ ซึ่งเสียเวลารอน้องพนักงานเขียน แล้วเขียนผิดอีก2ครั้ง ทำให้ขึ้นเรือกลับไปทัน ต้องรอเรือต่อไปอีก3ชั่วโมง
-เตียงนอนเก่าและแข็งไป
-พนักงานบริการไม่ดี บ่นว่าลูกค้าเยอะ

Should have a free airport shuttle. Had a Villa for 4 days. Was lovely. I don’t eat breakfast at these hotels I can’t handle the eggs which are not refrigerated. %17 tax on anything from the pool bar or restaurant. Makes it very expensive and quality of McDonald’s. Restaurant works could be better service. Front desk was very well run. Yea it’s far from town. 100 bhat for a truck taxi

Hidden gem, located in clean quite area. We are staying at garden view private pool villa. Room is spacious and has nice decor aligned with Thai Style, beautiful bungalow walk to the beach. Beach almost feels private and clean, staffs are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has all kinds of good options and tastes delicious. Beautiful beach front public pool. This is not a party place, very private kinda quite and relaxing. We are so happy that we found this place:)

Dont book here, if you not happy they not giving you any money back, and there is reason enough to not be happy, when you book here a bungalow room, you can hear youre neighbours shower, go to the toilet, and even talk.its not worth the money at all.people at the service desk are nice and friendly, they are aware of the complaints. I was not the first one who complained about this. Rest of the resort is clean and well taken care off. But for a 100€ a night you should not hear people in the room next to you talk. Never again

Ich kann die negative Bewegung hier null verstehen, man muss halt sich drum kümmern das man die Insel wenig erkundigen kann so findet man 10min weiter einen sehr schönen Strand ;).
Es war sehr mittig man konnte überall hinkommen, hilfsbereite Menschen, nettes Personal. Mega Ambiente es war einfach im Großen und Ganzen perfekt.
I can't understand these negative comments here at all, it was perfectly clear, the beach is not good, but you have the option of renting a scooter, apart from that, you should do some research when you're already there. The employee rex was super helpful and friendly. We had the best vacation ever

It's an amazing property. I stayed there with my friends and we had wonderful time. Location wise it's perfect. They have their own beach.also it's little away from the chaos of the market yet not too far. It's convenient to visit market through their free shuttle buses. Overall amenities and facilities are nice. I would definitely recommend it to friends, couples and families visiting Koh Samui.

The rooms are ok, becoming a bit old fashion, equipment become old and not well maintained. Basic breakfast and not everything is fresh and tasty. Nice swimming pool, the beach is not convenient. Need a ride (200 THB) to get to Chaweng road.
I would consider taking different hotels in the area of the center.

Good service. The place look very good in pictures, but not that good if you looking at the details. Advertising much more than it is. The food is no very variated. Near by is a construction site, and is quite loud. A little bit far from bars and restaurants. There is a free shuttle at 10: 30,15: 00 and 22: 00. At 18: 00,19: 00 and 20: 00 there is a shuttle that cost 50 thb/pers/way (as a normal taxi would charge). A standard tone conversation can be heard from one room to the other.

Nora beach is a wonderful piece of paradise with a large pool that looks out to the sea, a wonderful restaurant and fantastic staff. They have truly made our holiday special. We are always greeted with a smile and they are always more than happy to help.
The spacious air-conditioned rooms are perfect for escaping the midday heat.

Nice staff and room facilities but there was a problem of hot water shower in my room. Hot water supply stopped after 5 minute shower. After waiting for another 5 minutes, the supply resumed.
They upgraded us with a family suite with living room, and the hot water shower is good in the new room.

Good hotel, i like it my wife didnt like it so much there is no view at night because there is no good lighting system.

We are vegan and vegetarian couple who spent 10 days of our honeymoon in the beach front villas.

We loved our room, the pool, the view! Everything really clean. The Villas are not new but they keep them in really good conditions. The bathroom walls could be cleaner and we had like little flies everyday in the bathroom. Maybe it’s normal but it quite made us feel like it wasn’t completely clean or that there was a whole were they where coming from. They were not mosquitos so in general we forgot about them and close the bathroom door to prevent them from coming to the bed area. 2 big closets and a big living room, perfect for chilling but watch out for the mosquitos during the late afternoon and night. The mini bar was a little expensive but that’s perfectly normal in any hotel!

The restaurant: the staff is just BRILLIANT! Their English might not be perfect but they try their best to communicate and they never made a mistake with our food. Always remember our diet restrictions and worked with smiles all the time. The breakfast, it’s a buffet. We noticed that there were not many Thai vegetarian options for the breakfast but if you tell them to make vegan vegetable rice, or vegetable curry or even to bring a vegetable milk, they will do it without hesitation and they will remember to ask you the next time. Again, amazing people working there! For lunch and dinner vegetarian and vegan options are pretty good (ask for the vegetarian menu). Drinks are a little expensive but given that it’s a 4 star hotel, that’s something you can expect. Try the Nora Island cocktail if you want to get smashed quickly!

The entertainment is lovely and they will play almost any song you request and if you are brave enough you can sing with them (my husband did!).

The spa is on the expensive side, although there are even more expensive/luxury ones around the island. Really profesional, they tailor the massage to your preferences and I assure you will not regret it. My husband LIVED for the Sun package, his skin was glowing after his session and I felt almost reborn after my Thai massage.

Transportation: they have some scheduled shuttles to the near town although the times didnt work for us so we didn’t use them. You can easily take taxis or “buses” outside the hotel or use apps like uber. Inside the hotel there are some golf cars if you need a quicker way to the loby.

The WiFi connection is really good everywhere but it’s a little annoying that you have to reconnect it every time you lock your screen.

The amenities in the bathroom are really really complete. They give you 2-3 glass water bottles everyday for free. Plus in the breakfast you can refill any personal bottle if you want.

The bar at the loby is really relaxing and they have VEGAN ICECREAM!

Now there are a few things that could improve: PLASTIC STRAWS! They still use plastic straws, sometimes even 2 in one drink. Been a front beach hotel they shouldn’t even use paper straws, USE METAL STRAWS INSTEAD or no straw at all. It was really sad to see lots of straws in the beach. The sand in the beach, it’s not littered but it’s not clean. A lot of cigarettes butts, straws, plastic bags and objects laying around. I even saw a bird picking up a piece of plastic and eating it. Maybe having some staff that cleans the surrounding beach front? Or organizing weekly beach cleaning activities with the guests (free cocktail for the ones who help haha). I would like to see a better environmental politics for Nora Beach. You are so lucky to have those natural resources take care of them!
