The rooms are nice and comfortable. The price is cheap even though it is a higher season. Near the pier and convenient store.

The hotel owner knows how to run a hotel! And make the stay of its guests pleasant. At first glance it may seem strict with its regulations, but that makes all the difference with certain popular hotels where other guests can be super disturbing and do almost what they want.

All in all, the Nirvana Guesthouse is a very good hostel: it is only a 2-minute walk from the harbor and is therefore easily accessible.
The beds are some of the best I've had so far. There is enough space to take all your things with you to bed, even a large backpack. Everyone has a small locker in bed and a larger one in the hallway.
The staff is nice and can help book tours, ferries, scooters etc.
The bathrooms are also very modern with a concrete look and are equipped with enough toilets and showers.
Just know that this hostel is not really social. Everyone is for themselves and only a few people meet on the roof terrace in the evening. If that doesn't bother you, I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

I stayed here for a week, and I loved the hostel. I have rarely seen such a clean hostel! Cleaning is done constantly! The dormitory is great, with a large capsule and space for belongings. The staff is very friendly, the rooftop is a big plus, and the rental is great too! It is a quiet and friendly place

The rooms were clean, there were a lot of restaurants nearby with good food.
The only strange situation was that when we wanted to extend the rental, the receptionist asked if we wanted to pay now or later. We decided we would pay later. The next morning the lady knocked on our door and told us that we had to leave because she already had a reservation.

The room was quite large and very comfortable! You got new water and toilet paper every day. Otherwise great location, 5 minutes from the pier on foot and all the bars and Sairee Beach are also within walking distance! There is also good food right across the street!

Such a lovely lady! Very kind and quick to help you. Nice clean beds get changed regularely.
Its close to 2 7/11 stores, next door is a gym and there many restaurants nearby. Its a 5 minute walk from the pier but if you want there are taxis at the pier.last note there is a nice view on top of the hostel perfect for catching sunsets

I was here in July 2023.
I actually came for one night, but stayed a total of 8 nights.

I slept in the 10-person dorm on the first floor. The bed was very comfortable, there was a shelf on the side and hooks on the wall at the foot end. There was also a night light on the side wall. The bed could be closed with a blind. There is a lockable storage space under the bed.
The room is wonderfully cooled with an air conditioner. Towels etc.can be dried on the small balcony of the dorm.
There is a toilet and a shower in front of the dorm. There are more showers and toilets on the ground floor.

The house has a covered roof top with various seating areas and a coffee and tea corner. A cozy place with a great view.
There is also free drinking water on the ground floor.

Like most accommodations (I assume) you can rent scooters here.
Insider tip, especially for young people: There are also free helmets that you can wear when riding a scooter.)

The Guesthouse Teuan makes it perfect. She runs the accommodation with a lot of dedication, keeps things tidy and is always there when you need help or tips.
Teuan was very friendly to me right away, and we had great conversations. I felt very welcome.

Extended my stay here a couple of times and will return in the future.
The manager is super friendly.
The dorm rooms are kind of a capsule style which I liked a lot.
There is a personal safe right next to the bed and a personal locker outside the room.
A roll down curtain for privacy.
The bed is very comfortable especially compared to a typical hostel bed.

There is a rooftop with bean bags and hammocks and a bar area that hopefully will be active in the future.

A chill, friendly, modern and clean place for a very good price - highly recommended

Very good hostel with a super lovely owner.wanted to have a more quiet hostel and this is perfect for that.only two dorm rooms, where you have your own space and a nice bed.ac is good, bathrooms are outside, they do its job i’d say.very cool rooftop terrace where you can see nice sunsets.very central, 7/11 is a 1 min walk and the pier a 5 min walk, perfect.the thai restaurant across the road is also very good.but what made everything better was the owner, the lady was always friendly, tried to help, didn‘t have a problem when i extanded the same day, even gave us fresh fruits on my last night and sat down with us to talk.very familiar atmosphere if you‘re staying for a few more nights.still not the most social hostel but that‘s also what i wanted.you can have your own time if you want to.thank you!

Wunderbare Unterkunft. Sauber und ordentlich. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und man hat viel Privatsphäre. Es gibt genug Ablagen für die Sachen, Schließfach und abschließbarer Stauraum für das Gepäck. Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.
Die Lage ist top, in der Umgebung gibt es viele Restaurants und auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Keine 10 Minuten zu Fuß vom Pier entfernt.

Good location - pier, sairee beach, shops, diving centers are all very close. Cubicles are very private, spacious, clean. There's a rooftop space with a good view. Staff is very helpful and good.

I stayed in dorm room for a week. Clean, nice room, kind staff, nice balcony hammock with sunset, near pier nice location. Highly recommend!

I've been in 3 similar price hostels in Koh Tao and this one was the best. The beds are very comfortable and is like a capsule with a lot of privacy and space to put your luggage. They have individual light and electricity (plugs). The bathrooms were really clean and all really new. The showers provided really hot water. You can drink water and coffee for free at reception. They provide a towel. The housekeeping team change all the sheets included mattress protector (I saw the service). If you wanna stay close to the pier, I really recommend it.

Good room in Mae Haad for a decent price. Room had AC and was clean, comfy bed. The guys on reception were really friendly.

Good place for people who wants private hostel, there is not social area "living area" to meet people, staff are nice simple check in and check out, motorcycle rental many next to it and 7/11 the bed was amazingly comfortable and I am a picky person there is safety box next to your bed and you can close the Shades for privacy AC was good, wifi was faster than usual Koh tao hostels
