Nikki Beach Resort Koh Samui

This place is simply paradise but you have to take into account its location which is far from the touristic beaches where there are places to eat and the rest. Regarding the hotel - it is perfect, there are simply excellent breakfasts, 2 pools (one for hotel guests only), the rooms are large, equipped and clean. The bed is comfortable (large and high pillows), the staff is very nice and very helpful.

Went for the Nikki beach Sunday brunch. Used to be better. No drinks packages anymore (though they plan to add one cocktail freezer flow.). It lost its wow effect. Hope to see them again flourish as before

The place is very far from central samui and Green mango. People who are looking for complete serenity and seclusion should go here. The breakfast was divine. So much of variety and no wastage.love love love! The staff was very helpful and the place was very clean.

The property is clean, especially the Escape restaurant looks very beautiful, we had few drinks on valentine's day, the singer and guitarist performanced well. Romantic table on the beach with fairy lights, amazing sunset on the island. Will definitely visit again.

The resort was renovated last year during covid and our Signature Seaview Villa looked good and was in excellent condition. The materials were high quality for example the floor tiles and hardwood floor around the bed, and also the stone walls in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were thick, and the air conditioning was strong so we could sleep very well. The bathroom amenities were Aromatherapy which was an appropriate upscale brand for what Nikki Beach is trying to be.

There were a few issues with the room however. The main one is apparently they did not renovate the plumbing because the toilet was not flushing strongly and there was a note advising guests not to flush paper which does not give a feeling of luxury. Also the room would get very humid if taking a shower, to the point that were would be condensation on the furniture and on the walls of the entire villa. In addition, wifi barely worked from our room. We never had any problem from the restaurant but in our part of the resort the signal was weak during morning and simply unusable in the evening.

Breakfast was served near the beach club. The breakfast was entirely a la carte with good quality dishes but was too bland and not spicy enough. Also it’s one rare hotel in Thailand which does not have noodle soup available for breakfast, and the protein options were sausages + bacon and nothing else, so too western oriented. The other problem is that one some days they ran out of some ingredients - I guess in covid times with low occupancy they kept lower inventories.

The one thing that was never missing were drinks! They offered free flow mimosas for breakfast - the only other hotel we stayed at in Koh Samui to be generous enough to serve unlimited alcohol for breakfast was Vana Belle (Luxury Collection, Marriott).

The Nikki Beach brand is first and foremost about a beach club, in fact in many cities of the world Nikki Beach is not a hotel, it is only a beach club with live music and pool parties, for example in Miami, St-Tropez, Ibiza, etc. Koh Samui has both but it felt the strong point of the resort was the beach club. Despite low occupancy they still had a DJ with live music every day so they definitely made an effort to keep up a lively atmosphere as much as they could, unlike W Koh Samui which currently has nothing special going on and misses the mark on delivering what the brand is supposed to be.

The only minus about the beach club at Nikki Beach is that it would seem to be a perfect fit if it was in Chaweng rather than completely on the other side of the island. Also the beach on that side of the island is not nearly as good as Chaweng Beach.

Overall I am glad I tried Nikki Beach and I will consider returning in the future because of the good service and the beach club. However the villa had some issues that would need to be fixed before being considered truly 5-star like the big international hotel chains.

It's a nice place to chill in the evening and admire the sunset. Staff is very friendly and prices affordable. Would definitely consider coming back.

Stopped at the recommendation of another review - have to say I was so pleasantly surprised - place is almost empty which is sad to see but the staff are great - on the ball / the beach is spotless and everything ready for a party / great DJ great setting but the catch of the day wow just awesome - white snapper cooked to perfection in a banana leaf with great fries too - 10/10 couldn’t fault it - so glad I stopped by - thinking next time I’ll stay here for sure

Adapting and thriving in the face of adversity. Fantastic staff who truly care about their Guests and outside Customers. GM Sean and his Team are crushing it. Food quality is nothing short of superb - try the Catch of the Day. Perhaps the best fish ever had at a resort. Reasonable room rates. Dramatic improvements all around!

Attended they New Year's Eve event, and it was VERY disappointing.
Bad service, food was cold (meat), and they even cancelled the fireworks at the last minute. They are only looking after your money. Run away! There are far better options in Koh Samui who know what customers service means.

I went here for a drink while on the island. The service it's good, the view it's nice, the ambience it's great for a more peaceful, relaxed, family time. They have a pool, spa, bar restaurant and hotel. I personally find it less for the party and more for relaxing time.

Nikki Beach was one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever been to. We had overnight stays in both, the rooms next to the pool and the bungalows. I did prefer the spacious bungalows with the garden, but the other room was fantastic too. Pool, beach and breakfast was great. They have a free shuttle service you can order to go out for dinner at nearby places. The weekly party is nice, but not too well visited and not too special. You can use the SUP and Kayak for free, big mattresses to chill at the pool are also available. Ah and they offered free courses such as Thaibox, Thai Language Course and more.

It's empty no occupancy need to improve on marketing and promotion something to increase attendecce. Resort itself it's very nice decks around pool need to be refinished. Pool itself needs repairs of loose tiles. Staffing is wonderful food is amazing. Villas are very nice spacious and clean.

Just loved it. The best food, service and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy themselves.

Love the beach and the service, everything is perfect with the sea view villa. Food prices are expected to be expensive compared to Bangkok but if you come from Canada, the cost is pretty much the same. Staff is super professional and I love their attitude towards customers.
The massage that I experienced is more like a skin rub. At 2000 baht, I was expecting a premium massage but throughout the massage I was more tensed than ever. I requested my masseuse 3 times to press harder but was ignored. We filled out the client survey to customize on what we wanted but they did not even take a look at it so it was very disappointing. We would recommend to go elsewhere for a massage. We had an amazing massage for 1750baht in bangkok and we were pretty much pampered to sleep the entire way.
We reported this problem to the manager and he handled it very professionally and we were not charged for the skin-rub at the end so we are very thankful.

Overall, the resort is perfect, I would definitely visit again but I would most certainly not try the massage again.

Amazing place, excellent music, dancing at the pool, great atmosphere, friendly people, easy to make friends, just the perfect place to hang out. Be warned, it's really pricey (as you would expect a 5* resort to be) and it's not centrally located, but probably only a 20 minute scooter ride from Lamai and Chaweng. But it's definitely worth it. Highly recommend!

Very disappointed to be honest as I recently moved to a villa close to Nikki Beach, it’s actually my nearest bar; also I’m used to paying a premium price for drinks having lived in Dublin, Ireland for the last ten years but these prices are not fitting for the venue or location of Nikki Beach. Yes, the place is quite pretty and upmarket but there are far nicer places to sit and watch the sunset and only pay 60tbh for a beer, charging 244tbh for a very small can of Heineken gives the place an unjustified pretentious feel, as I said, I would drink here more often as it’s my nearest bar but the prices here are simply ridiculous. When I visited on a Saturday evening the place was absolutely dead, maybe better prices would draw more of a crowd Nikki Beach. Would have given higher than two stars but not at these prices.

Awful service at the restaurant. Sat down for lunch with another family. Took 2 hours (!) for everyone to get their food. Wrong dishes came out of the kitchen, kid's menu items came out spicy and many more mistakes. And the place didn't even look half full.super expensive restaurant for a mediocre food and a very bad service. Stay away.
