Naturism Beach reviews
16This was my first time in Thailand. I actually approached the beach from the Thong Son Bay bungalows and resort. There was a bit of dirt road to reach it, so if you find that after passing the Melati resort, you're going the right way. Once there I stepped out to the beach area, and to the right is a cement pathway that leads to a rock hill. I wish I had worn trainers or more stable shoes for my feet other than slippers to traverse down the rock hill to the beach area. The whole process didn't take long at all. The beach was very peaceful. I was here on a rainy day, and although the rain had paused, I was the only one there. I did naturalist bathe for a brief period, but had a small bath suit to put on as well just in case. I wasn't for certain if the space is expected naturalist. If I had saw others there already bathing, I would have been comfortable to be as natural as nature. I just wish people were better collectively about picking up their garbage, but some of this garbage most like was carried in by the sea. Afterwards, I went back to the resort area to dine in at the restaurant. The food was delicious! Upon leaving, I saw a sign mentioning the beach was private and reserved for bungalow and restaurant guests. Good thing I dined in.
Quiet place where you can swim naked. Unfortunately, or fortunately, a bit difficult to reach.
A nice secluded beach, although not the cleanest. The impression is spoiled by locals who come dressed to look at naked people.
Small secluded beach. Since this beach is not an official bathing beach, there is unfortunately a lot of washed up rubbish lying around. This beach is also not particularly suitable for swimming, as there are a lot of splashy, small and larger stones covered with algae in the water. But you will find peace and quiet and an impressive view of the sea.
Yes, it can be quiet and peaceful, especially in the morning. And indeed there is an evidence of humans visits namely leaving rubbish behind (unexplained to true naturists of course). There is no possibility of swimming whatever the tide, as there are just too many rocks in the water. If you care only for a sunbathing then come along from 8am till noon time.
Nice beach if you are a naturist, can relax on white sand but the sea water is not too clear when id low tide.
Great secluded beach. Not many people as well. When you arrive at things on just easily climb few rocks for access
Beautiful secluded beach. People mainly keep to themselves and respectful. Not very busy.
You park near the restaurant and take the path right. There are a few rocks to climb but nothing too challenging. There’s good shade from the trees and clear water.
Please DON’T COME HERE if you don’t plan to be nude.
It's really good that so many people have so much to complain about on this beach.
This guarantees that not too many come to this beautiful place.
And they shouldn't learn anything about the secret of the tidal range either.
It's errrr. OK. And (apparently) the only naturist beach on the island. Quite a bit of plastic waste at the back of the beach and on the route there, but not on the main sandy area fortunately. The beach slopes gently into the water but there are lots of rocks and stones underfoot which you cannot see as you go in, and which you can even graze as you swim. There about half a dozen people there (1500 on a Tue in April), all European. The car park by the cafe charges 80 Bhat to park a car and less for a bike but it's not enforced seemingly and anyway we had a sandwich in the cafe so parking was free.
Read another review saying you could get to this secluded beach in flip flops, maybe if your a mountain goat wearing flip flops lol
The beach is there even if no local has ever heard of it.
Probably best idea is to ask the jet ski rental from the main beach to ferry you round for a cheeky 50tbh
Thong son bay is the perfect place to break down schemes about what is considered to be good or bad. You will feel yourself like an alien if you are wearing clothes!
The place is reachable from Choeng mon beach. From there it can take you around 30 minutes, by bike just 5 minutes.
Once you reach, you need to turn to your right and walk over the stony area til you go down. Usually you will find only foreigners.in general terms the beach is beautiful. Moreover, you can't swim as the water is not deep and also you might find some stones (many of them) in the way.
Yes at low tide there are some rocks but you can still swim without a problem. There were a few naturists on the beach enjoying the sun. Not crowded and easy to get to over an easy rock climb.
During the low tide the sea is not accessible.small sharp stones comes out.the water is dirty.but the beach is nice and wild
To get to the beach you have to walk through the rocks, better have good skills. The beach itself it's nice but quite dirty with plastic (I saw a toothbrush) and other stuffs the waves bring in. The sand is thicker that other ones in Koh Samui. I wouldn't recommend it.
