17FYI if you arrive by ferry: Taxis are very expensive! It's better to take the red songthaew (pickup taxi - where you sit on the side in the back) to get to other parts of the island very cheaply.
ค่าเรือเหมือนจะอัพขึ้นนะคะ เดินทาง ไปกลับก็ราคาเอาเรื่องอยู่ ทางขึ้นเรือ ชันมาก ลากกระเป๋าขึ้น ลง ลำบากมาก การบริการ ดีมาก พนักงาน ทั้งบนเรือ และตรงท่า น่ารักมากๆ เรือสะอาด ค่ะ
Many small shops and a small food market invite you in the evening, and small jet ski events also take place here
Everything is well signposted and regulated there, the employees are practiced in their jobs.
We took a boat from Koh Samui as our final destination was Krabi.
The Pier was near and clean. Just one counter was open that time which took a little more time than usual to provide us with the boat check-in boarding pass.

It is a good choice to take lomprayah's car-ship combined transport here, but don't take a taxi directly at the pier, it will be very expensive
Great market next door to the pier. Comes alive at night. The best on koh samui as they sell to locals at local prices unlike the tourist markets.
Nice place to go for a stroll, lots of cafes for coffees and restaurants to eat plus massage parlours. Of course lots of tourists shops and market.
Nathon Pier is Samui Island's main ferry port and serves as the key arrival/departure point for Samui travelers. Situated in the northwest of Samui, tourists will be able to find trips from Nathon Pier to any of the amazing surrounding islands such as Koh Phangan and the local dive capital, Koh Tao. Nathon Pier itself is a really sturdy passenger zone, which is able to accommodate the hundreds of people hopping on and off ferries at any given time.
Once you reach the pier, there's taxi stand where you can take private taxi as well as sharing taxi. You can always bargain with the rates when it comes to private taxi. There's 7/11 store right infront of the pier once you cross the road and many restaurants as well. You can also get many options if you want to rent a scooter or car right next to Seven eleven.
Que for the shops are oddly organized but it’s whatever. Not the best shops or food (snacks) here.
Just pier. Nothing too special. Big enough to have few buses in. In front just nice shops and restaurants.
DONT EVER RENT MOROBIKE FROM THIS PLACE, THEY MAKE YOU PAY MONEY BECAUSE OF SCRATCHES THAT WAS ALREADY IN THE BIKE (ALWAYS DO A VIDEO OF THE BIKE BEFORE)

Great boat ride to Ang Thong Island. Crew was very friendly and helpful. They served us coffee and croissants upon boarding. Then they served a great lunch before returning to Koh Samui. Amazing experience! Don't miss it!
The large pier in Eastern Samui. Don't get confused though. Samui has 3 main piers. Make sure you get the right one.
