Moov Inn Garden Hostel

Dogs very hostile. Gave me a little bite once. Nothing bad. Beds squeaky and uncomfortable. Shower don’t work well. Aircon off. Place has good vibe, ps4, looks nice, big garden. Rooftop. And staff are generally friendly. Part from the fact I was overcharged my stay for a week when I leave after 4 days I still pay for a week. Not seen this in many places with really caring hostees

This was the worst accomodation I stayed in Thailand. Photos are not updated. Beds are uncomfortable, bathrooms are dirty and showers don’t work. Dogs bark at night waiting for their dinner to arrive. I only used the hostel to sleep and shower and both were bad. There were empty water bottles on the floor as no bin is provided and guests don’t dispose their s***. I recommend staying somewhere else, you can find better places around for a good price. Also, I recommend renting your bike somewhere else.

Worst place I stayed at during my trip. The water didn’t work at all at times, the AC is only turned on at certain hours so we were drenched in sweat most of our stay. There are a lot of dogs staying there too. They scammed me on my laundry and tried to make me pay for stains on my bed linens that I didn’t cause. The only bonus is the location as it’s close to the Pier but far from literally anything else.

The owners are harboring a violent dog named latte. The owners recognize the problem and, ultimately the owners are the problem. The dog should be put down. It has no business being in a high traffic business. If you value your money and safety, do not patron this establishment.

Best hostel in koh tao. Very special. I'm a solo traveler, stayed here almost 3 weeks was to good to leave, the vibe is perfect for people who like chilling and not being in the middle of the parties and noise. 4 minute scooter from sairee beach, everyones super friendly and welcoming, and the staff are absolutely incredible, help with everything and just really cool people. Theres a movie room, hammocks, pool table, a lot of cool gathering areas, great and cheap food and coffee in the hostel for those lazy days:) you won't regret coming

By far the best hostel I stayed at during my 1.5 months of travelling so far. It's a quiet hostel, athmosphere is great, multiple laid back common areas, staff is very kind and helpful, the food is brilliant!

There's a movie theater (!), you can choose from netflix. 4 dogs, wouldn't recommend petting them though.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. I lost my wallet and all the money and they helped me get back to mainland and get through the vacation. And rooms were clean and for the price it was the best around the area

I booked for two nights for 200baht/night, price is good, I just spent the first night, people were nice, I didn't spend much time at the hostel, but it seemed to have good atmosphere.
The common areas are good, location is OK, Ko Tao is really small and if you have a scooter everything is 5 minutes away doesn't matter where you are staying.
Now about the room: mattress are 10cm wide spring mattress, you can literally feel each of the springs in your body while you sleep, the support of the mattress is a steel mesh, looks like it was made from a fence or something similar, so between the poor support and the thin spring mattress I felt I wasn't straight while sleeping. On top of that I had the great luck of been in the bed next to the room where the water pump was installed, so every few minutes I heard a very loud humming wich could be compared to sleeping near a powerful engine, the wall vibrated, the mattress vibrated, a lot. This has been the worst night I've had in a month traveling around Thailand.
In the morning I asked if I could do the check out after the first night, I was told (very politely) that no refunds were allowed, wich I understand, so no problems with that, as I said the staff seems friendly and the place was among the cheapest I found in ko Tao, but I wouldn't sleep there even if it were free.

Easy to Moov Inn, hard to move out. Good accommodation, amaaazing people. Give Dao a hug for me when you arrive

We absolutely loved our week's stay at Moovinn! The hosts were really welcoming from the start and so helpful! They provide everything you need to enjoy life on Koh Tao - we rented a scooter for the equivalent of just 5€ per day, it was perfect. The vibe is impeccable, very easy to make friends in all of the interesting common areas. This place is ideally located, and we felt super safe and at home throughout our stay. Simply cannot recommend this place enough! 10/10

Really, really bad. I found a bed bug and the hostel itself was not clean at all. I went to the lady from the hostel, she didn’t believe me. I showed her the picture but she was still convinced that it was not true. She didn’t gave me my money back. She was very rude and didn’t even say sorry. I asked her for other hostels nearby but she didn’t want to help me. Instead she just left the common area, went home and left me with two stoned guys in the middle of the night. I’m happy that I found a very good hostel nearby. But this place, never again.

Great Hostel close to Koh Tao pier and all the good dive schools. The common area is spread over several floors with tons of places to relax and chill, or going for a ping pong match or music session. The dorms have ac and the beds are private and comfortable. 10/10 would recommend!

One of my favorite hostels ever. The owners were so lovely, accommodating and welcoming. They have motorbikes to rent, they have all the recommendations for koh tao! Love this place and would deff come back!

Great! My friends and me ended there during Corona crisis and Warisa and Dao where eager to help us out. We had a great time there and experienced a wonderful atmosphere on Koh Tao!

I wish I'd found Moov Inn on my first day. After staying at White Jail, the Islander, and now Moov Inn, this place is the best one I've stayed at while on Koh Tao! The atmosphere is good, the food is really good and cheaper than most places, the owner is very nice. They have a tv room with Netflix, there's a pool table, and a dart board, they rent scooter's, and they give you a towel with no deposit or rental fee. The location is good being really close to the harbour, and the closest beach is approx a 5 minute walk to the closest really nice beach is approx a 15 minute walk away. What more could you ask for? Definitely recommend it.

I would absolutely recommend this Hostel.
Just the air con was freezing cold, but after 2 nights and 4 times asking we got the remote control.

Nice Hostel, clean, central and cool chill-out area.
BUT! They forgot to give me back my passport when I paid (which is my fault as well) but they wouldn't tell me. Only when I realised a few days afterwards, I messaged them (took ages because they don't have a valid phone number). Then I was told, I can pick it up by myself. Thanks for letting me know I forgot the most important item for a traveller and that you wouldn't even help me to get it back. Never ever again MOOV INN!
