Monkey Mansion Bungalow / Khao Sok Jungalows

Thank you Bastian and the wonderful team for making our stay in Khao Sok, and the last stop in our 3 months of travelling, so wonderful. Not only were the bungalows and food up to such a high standard, the tours we booked with you were amazing too. The jungle trek and bamboo cooking class with Mint (our private guide) were amazing and so well organised. We saw monkeys, snakes, tarantulas, turtles, fish frogs and more. Because it was just us three we saw SO MUCH MORE than the other groups. Then the overnight bungalow stay exceeded expectations. Our group’s guide M was lovey and knowledgable and fun and we definitely had the smallest group size of everyone else in the national park bungalows. Thanks again!

Incredible experience. The "Classic Package" was the perfect blend of activities. We particularly enjoyed the bamboo rafting and night jungle trek. The logistics were seamless. Highly recommend choosing Monkey Mansion as your home base for exploring Khao Sok. You're immersed in nature, yet the rooms are modern and comfortable. Bastian and team are lovely and the food is some of the best I've had in Thailand. Hope to be back one day.

Had an amazing experience living here. The Jungalow was comfy and had amazing views. The staff was super helpful and the food was amazing too. Will definitely recommend.

Nice views. Good accommodation. Clean rooms. Good prices in restaurant. One hind - only cash (bath). It should be change to crefit card or dolars too.

Absolutely great 3 days secluded from tourist hotspots in the area. That’s where you want to be. The deep jungle tour (with Dam) was a fantastic experience. Otherwise top bungalow, super good food and the most friendly staff. Thank you!

Absolutely wonderful place! Very kind staff and great food. It’s situated away from the village and that makes it very quiet place to relax in between tours. The rooms have fans only and no AC because of their philosophy, and it works here. Their beautiful basic bungalows come with hammocks.

This is a really cool place - perfect if you are looking for a digital detox and want to immerse yourself in nature. Great sized rooms, beautiful open air restaurant with many food options accommodating for vegetarians and vegans. Greatly priced too. The team at Monkey Mansions is so friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay here.
It is a little bit out of the ‘main strip’ of Khao Sok but that wasn’t an issue for us as we felt well looked after and had everything we needed at Monkey Mansions. Thank you!

If It were for the stay alone I would have rated It with five stars. The rooms are big, comfortable and clean and the bathroom is really good and looks new.i ve read some comments about not having warm water in the shower but must have been old as we did have.

The staff is really nice and location is amazing, the surroundings look like a paradise. Food offer is pretty good.

They also arranged pick Up and transportation for us which made our lifes definetly easier.

As for the activities I recommend the Deep jungle Trek. We had really good time and the guide was so much fun and so helpful, def the best guided Trek we did in Thailand. The Trek has so much variety that although a bit challenging at times It was a pleasure to do It.

The reason why I cant really give five starts is because of the lake night tour that we did with them. We were Warned It was a bit chaotich in terms of organization and It was indeed. However we were Warned so cant complain about It and also, It was really not that bad.the problem was the food offered is like cantine food, you cant chose from the menu and It taste like a hospital meal. The room didnt smell well and had lots of ants which was a problem cause there is no bread frame, just a matress on the floor. Had I been prepared probably would have been ok but we didnt know and also didnt have pics of the room prior. Probably It would have been worth having a day tour instead of staying in the lake or Booking independently a nicer place, although this option can get quite expensive. I have to say that the guide was actually also really nice. So overall I wouldnt recommend but It was not all bad.

Lovely place to stay to visit the National Park of Khao Sok. The staff is friendly and food is good! We stayed 2 nights and did the one day lake trip, which included hiking in the jungle and inside a cave. We enjoyed a lot the nature and had fun

Highly recommended! Can't have enough words to describe instant chill feeling and relaxed atmosphere while staying at their Bungalos. Bastian and his staff are superfriendly and helpful.
Definately go on jungle (night) safari/hike. Ask for Rango as your guide, such a humble and enthusiastic guy. Hope to be back there one day.

Chilled place with very nice staff. Helpful in any way and clean rooms. Open style so maybe theres a bit jungle dropping in. No problem if you ask my. That's why we go there, right?

This place is out of the time. We spent some amazing days there! Ask the owners for tips, they are the best and will give you the bests tips ever!

Great place to stay, in the middle of the nature with all it’s suroundings. Great to get your Khao Sok adventures started. They help with choosing a good trip to the National Park, depending on your wishes. My girlfriend lost her earring, the staff finded if and was very kind to ship the earring to our next hotel. Love the staff and the great service! For sure the best stay in Khao Sok!

This place is a true hidden gem! Traditional bamboo bungalows surrounded by beautiful jungle garden, and a very cosy social area, with hammocks and comfy floor seating areas. There was always some nice music playing and the atmosphere is so enchanting. But be alarmed, the bungalows are very basic - and by this I mean no hot water, and occasional visits from bugs. However, there is a mosquito net on the bed so you won't be bothered by any unwanted creatures while sleeping.

Ok so. The staff are amazing, the location is great real jungle. The obly downside is the accommodation is a little tatty and you can get luxury with aircon and pool down the road for the same place.having said that the ambience and laid back atmosphere of the place may be worth it for some

It is a CLASSIC accommodation for Nature lovers, that provides for basic needs. Bastion, one of the owners was just meticulous in explaining and planning our activities in Khao Sok.

Four stars are for the staff. They were incredibly helpful. They explained our tour options very honestly. Can't remember the gentleman's name, but he walked us through each tour and gave us the pros and cons of each. We never felt pressured to buy a certain one or spend more. We showed up for a room last minute, and they offered us the "bunk house". This was a half built house with a bat living in the ceiling who occasionally whizzed by our heads. I heard the regular bungalows were much nicer.
