Mojo Divers Koh Tao Diving

Mojo divers was great. Our daughter did 2 try dives. The instructor Andrew was very professional, took all the time to explain some skills, comfort her and made sure we were all okay and enjoying ourselves. We had a great day and we will definitely be back here again! Thanks Andrew!

I really enjoyed my experience there! Did my open water with Lisa and Andrew, and let me tell you that you have to pick them if you want to spend a fabulous time! Easy to speak to and great listeners, they really know how to properly train while having fun at the same time. 10/10

Mojo is a good place to extend diving experience. I took the open watter SSI course by a good price. Can point high level of education, but meanwhile with humor. Special thanks to Andrew Russel, you could select him to pass any exam!

So I hesitated between 3 and 5. Let's make the pros and cons!

Pros:
- best price on the island
- superb quality instructors (I had Nicolas) who are really serious while speaking about diving; safety measures, there is no joke during the course and it makes you learn real quick
- good vibes, positive attitude
- second on site after Seashell divers so you can enjoy your first dive with no one around, that's HUGE

Cons:
- there were two whale sharks, and for "safety measure" we couldn't go snorkel with the first one, and just when we left there was a second one, and instead of being flexible and staying onsite, letting us see it, we went off for the second dive in a less exciting place while other diving centers modified there plans and stayed with the whale shark
- the boat still pollutes a lot, I don't know what has been fixed, but black fumes are still here)

Overall I highly recommend Mojo Divers, it's a super positive experience, and I hope they consider feedback on the whale shark because it's a dream that didn't come true for me, the fact that it was possible if the captain decided otherwise makes it really frustrating and I hope they adapt)

Long story short:
I highly recommend!

I did a refresh course as well as the advanced adventurer with mojo divers while my girlfriend did her open water diver.
It turned out she is a bit of a slow learner when it comes to scuba diving, because the idea of going under water scared her although she really wanted to do it, for discovering the marine life.
I really enjoyed my course and it was fun.
And they were very patient and caring with my girlfriend and gave her the time and comfort she needed.
All (!) the staff, instructors, dive masters, the captain of their boat, etc.are very nice and made our experience a great one!

We did the open water course with Mojo Divers and had an incredible time. Package includes 4 night stay close to their office and where we leave for dives. All of the instructors spoke great English and seemed to have vast diving experience. I would recommend Mojo over the bigger diving schools because for a similar price you get a much more personalized experience.

I rarely give 5/5 reviews. With that said, the excellent staff absolutely earned it. They are straightforward with you and are more focused on customer service than just money. I keep diving again and again with them! Really positive and friendly group of people. Keep it up everybody!

Great stuff and equipment (quite new). We had 2 fantastic dives at Sail Rock with them! The price was also the cheapest we saw. Always again with MOJO Divers)

I love being a member of the Mojo staff. The other members are more than colleagues, we are like a family! I initially came to koh tao for a short trip but I ended up staying 6 years and I don't plan on leaving any time soon!

Amazing diving school, my diving buddies and me had so much fun. Great people, great boat, great equipment, not to forget those amazing biscuits on the boat everyday!
Robbie was our instructor and he really did an awesome job. I sometimes didn't feel too comfortable when thinking about going deep under water, but he really could take away our fear with his calm and experienced manner. I really felt safe.
All in all, amazing experience, would recommend this to everyone.

Veeeery good experience with this diving school. I can only recommend joining courses at Mojo's!
The instructor explained everything in detail and when we had any questions he found a good way to explain it to us =] another very positive thing is the small group size of 4 people Max! And in top of that is was very inexpensive (we saw no cheaper one during our stay)!

I did my open water & advanced open water certificate with these guys after researching a ton of other diving schools. The staff is amazing and fun to be around! They keep small groups of max 4 people per instructor. I really liked the laid back vibe and very personal instruction, nobody was overlooked or pushed. I had a lot of fun with Mojo while feeling perfectly safe all the time. I will make a point of visiting them on my next trip to Koh Tao. Recommended!

Got my advanced course during the start of a monsoon so visibility wasn't even close to optimal but mojo divers made each dive fun and memorable.
