Moby Dick Irish Pub & Guesthouse

Friendly people, met some new friends, bar folks always had my drink ready! Just plain, good bar, free pool, not expensive, nice people. (and best of all close to my hotel lol) because i usually needed it!

Lively Irish pub. Convivial owner and staff. 3 or 4 pool tables, free for clients, great choice of reasonably priced drinks, good music. And of course Guiness, what else!

Great atmosphere, good prices, and a very friendly and chatty staff. Will definitely come back.

Best bar on the island! Stayed here for a few weeks and wouldn't stay anywhere else next time im in koh samui. The rooms are clean and very reasonably priced. The owners and staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly, will definitely be back!

Disgusting cocktails! AVOID! We ordered margaritas (salty and watered down) and bloody Marys (taste like water and hot sauce, gave everyone bad stomachache).
Do not order anything but beer here! Waste of money and a health hazard!

A gem of a find right in the heart of Chaweng. Out of all the bars i have tried and tested i always get the best and warmest welcome here.
Staff are friendly and not pushy and in your face like some other bars and you really get a feeling like it is your local pub home away from home right from your very 1st visit.

We found this beauty at the beginning of our trip and have been back almost every night since on a 12 day trip to Samui!
Super friendly bar staff (Jack is the best) and a very friendly and hospitable owner! Great long happy hour from 3pm to 9pm with delicious cocktails and lots of specials! Free pool all night!
Very clean and safe environment with open air style and fans everywhere. Also many screens playing whichever sport you request (much to my partners delight). Couldn’t have found a better spot to spend our evenings after dinner. Best hospitality on the island as far as we are concerned

Great bar playing sports all night. Watched 5 days straight of the Ashes test here and the service, atmosphere and general hospitality has been impeccable. Highly recommendable for anyone looking for a good night out or somewhere to chill out and play some free pool!

Best pub we found in Chaweng with an amazingly long happy hour from 3pm to 9pm with lots of great specials. Super friendly staff and a great atmosphere and great music! Mai Tai cocktail is a must try! Playing international sports into the late night/morning hours. Couldn’t recommend more if you looking for a good place to chill and hang out without the hustle and bustle of the main street!

It's clean, great Aircon, good price, staff have good English, owner was very helpful with planning my next destination. Can be noisy, but it's a party bar! Highly recommended.

No disrespect to the ownership for my rating. The bar is friendly and homey. I'm basing my rating on my expectations vs observation. Music can be better, the lights can be improved and can probably get fans since the location don't seem to have good breeze flow.

I had the best time on samui ever at Moby Dick. Great and helpfull staff great atmosphere. It's in the middle of the nightlife area and always busy. The food is great and the got 4 pool tables so there is always something to do. The rooms above the pub are clean and comfortable. If you ever vissit samui. Go there for a good night drinking or sleep. Thanks guys and ' I'll be back "

One of best bar in koh samui, as Germans we really felt it was a unique irish experience in koh samui

Great place with a fantastic atmosphere.all the staff is very nice and helpful and the food is a bargain! Great prices and its really delicious, if you get the chance then stop by, i love the place!

This kind of places I just love. Nice little place In midle of everythig. Personel are just awesome and how should I say. Owners of this remarkable guesthouse are most careing and helpfull. Ask anything and U got answers. I have been there several times and allways been happy. I HIGLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE,

EXCELLENT place would recommend anyone to stay here never felt so welcomed by any other hotel on the island and been samui few times but MOBY Dick guesthouse was great fun friendly staff would do anything for u and all in all great run family guesthouse no faults at all and good food no complaints

The staff are so friendly and funny, great atmosphere! Also big tv where they have all the live matches up
