Great location, quiet and near the beach. Good food with lots of options, fast delivery. The staff was really nice, provided super fast laundry. The gym had a good functioning AC and the equipment worked well. We had a week, and I highly recommend a stay here!

We were very happy with our stay at Merit Resort. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the stunning view more than made up for the many stairs we had to navigate to get there. A special shoutout for the receptionist Kanawan, who went above and beyond the call of duty in helping us with transportation arrangements. She was efficient and friendly, and really helped take our stress away. I hope we can return some day.

Somewhere out of city, but a peaceful and nice hotel with perfect beach view and you will get rooms with swimming pool view as well if you are lucky. You can just see both pool and sea from your room. But water shortage - you will not be allowed to use bath tub even if it is available. Great food - Wague beef stir fry with rice is a must try.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Merit Resort Samui and I have to say, it didn't disappoint. The location is ideal, nestled comfortably between Chaweng and Lamai beaches, making it a perfect spot for beach lovers. The view from the rooms and the on-site restaurant is nothing short of spectacular, giving you a real sense of being immersed in nature.

Speaking of the rooms, they're quite snug and comfortable with a homey touch. They've got baths and terraces too, perfect for those late-night relaxation sessions or early morning coffee moments. I was pleasantly surprised to find the resort in good condition despite it not being the newest around, which says a lot about the management's dedication to maintenance.

The Thai breakfasts served here are worth waking up early for. The flavors are authentic and are a great start to your day. I also enjoyed the fitness center and yoga room, both of which overlook the sea, giving you an inspiring backdrop for your workout. And let's not forget the clean, well-maintained pool - an ideal spot to cool off or unwind. Overall, it's a gem of a place to stay.

Good room staff is very nice. The boss staff Tan is very good. And the sea view is amazing

Only a guest at the restaurant. Best food in ko samui! You need to try cheese pad thai and lab kai here (spicy) … also best prices and the coconuts taste amazing!

Awesome views. For a wellness cafe, the menu could have more healthy options. The food was tasty though. The service though was EXCELLENT - particularly at the end when after we paid the bill, a nice big storm arrived and we’d idiotically left our umbrellas in the car. The waiting staff, on seeing this was very kind to walk us to our car with umbrellas. Will definitely go back.

Great views. Cheap and very delicious. There are varios foods for everyone.

Nice view, large menu both Thai and western food. Thai food decent, pizza was not great but not bad. Good service, ok prices.

I was hesitant to book this hotel because of the mix reviews hence I booked one night. We ended up booked few more nights.
I didn’t expect anything at all. We were looking for accommodation close to Vikasa and this resort happened to be just right next to it.
We were happy with this hotel. We booked the most basic room and it was good! Good size room, big bed, neat and clean, with balcony! The view was amazing! Anywhere else, you would pay double the price. It was quite too.most of the times we had the pool and the beach for ourselves.
The staff were easy going and very friendly.
There were few minor things to be expected, like showers not strong enough. But hey, look at the bigger pictures. Value for money and view!
Food at the restaurant was quite good. Cheaper than Vikasa.
Once we got buffet breakfast and it was delicious (there were more guests staying)! The other times we got breakfast made to order (only few guests) and it was also good.
It was easy to go to Chaweng and Lamai. Just wait for the converted pick up car. We never waited too long, few minutes max. It was about 80-100baht per person.
I would recommend this hotel and without hesitation would book this again in the future.

Very bad hotel, extremely low quality, certainly not 4*, despite setting. I am dissapointed, do not recommend.

I did enjoy my stay, thanks to the friendly staff and a nice room. But you got to be aware that there are a lot of stairs, and that you are basically in the middle of nowhere, unfortunately they do not offer a shuttle to any of the beaches or anywhere. Taxis are quite expensive 600 baht to go to the beach and back. Many of the bungalow seemed empty, But I got a very good price, and could enjoyed yoga for an additional fee. The staff helped me a couple of times with a car to get to my bungalow fast. I did not use the restaurant of the hotel, instead I used the wonderful restaurant of the yoga place which is almost integrated into the hotel

The staff very helpful and attentive.
The view is great.
The room also nice and clean.reasonable price.
The breakfast is standard but not variety.but other menu quite good.

We have pick up service car from port to hotel and hotel to port. They have a little spot tour program both way.

And they have free once car service to Lamai beach but when we wanna back at a lil late night. We cant find car. So I asked them for help. They picked up us free.

When we backed. They send msg to us likes Are we safe? That was impress:)

Best hotel at our hotel trip! The kitchen chief cooked personal breakfast.
