Malibu Beach Bungalows

Fantastic place! Quiet spacious bungalows in lush, well kept gardens. A stone's throw from one of Koh Phangan's finest beaches. (The beach restaurant is terrible though: avoid!)

I stayed at the Malibu beach Bungalow in one of the bungalow in front of.the pool. The most expensive ones I believe (almost 2000baht a night). I was very disappointed for the price. The bungalow look nice from outside and inside but I would have like a kettle and coffee/tea. The light was very dark in the room and bathroom.the cleaning was done very quickly. The bathroom smelled bad. The shower and tap water was brown. No pool towel. I know its high season but if I pay 2000baht a night I would like a room with more facilities. The best thing is the location.

Beautiful little bungalows with all the basics that you need! Very short walk to the beach with a bar and massages right on the beach too!
Staff were very helpful and welcoming! Would recommend!

Cute and beautifully designed Hobbit House style bungalows, spacious and quiet grounds, lovely pool very well maintained (no chlorine smell) and romantic 1 minute walk across a bridge to beautiful white sand Malibu Beach. Feels like a private island. Kind family owned business. Really special place. I stayed here for a month. Lots of nearby restaurants of all types (Italian, vegan, healthy western, bakery, Thai food, seafood). The Chaloklum neighborhood is friendly local Thais with a genuine charm.

The location is excellent. However I have never slept on a more uncomfortable bed in my life. I asked the manager and all beds are the same.longest week of my life. BUT.the beach is excellent, the restaurant included brekky is pretty good and the bungalows themselves are good with an ample deck, hammock and table for working in the mornings.

It is wonderful location for a hotel. Beach is just in front of you. Bungalows are located in a forest, beautiful.

I have to say i did not have a pleasant stay at this resort. The people at the restaurant were SO unfriendly/rude and always in a bad mood that it did not only affected me, but several guests. The breakfast is really poor! The people/owners at the reception are not always available and always give you the sense that they don’t have time for your questions. I would definitely go for another place to stay next time

Der ort wäre schön, doch alles etwas heruntergekommen und vernachlässigte.
Der pool ist voller algen und die auflagen der liegestühle verschimmelt. Preis leustung stimmt für mich nicht überein.

Nette Anlage, mit ein bis zwei Macken. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereite Personal. Zimmer sind okay.

The bathroom is a little impractical and the beds are uncomfortable but overall the bungalows are okay.
The pool also has green chunks in it but therefore the beach is amazing. The "beach bar" is overpriced on food but the breakfast is free. Nice people. Recomend for max few days.

Beware! It's scam! The cheap bungalows are worst, cockroaches and other awful things. I've you booked prepaid your only way to get out is to pay too much for an upgrade.

This Place is simply amazing. Lonley Beach at the Malibu Beach Bungalows allows you to Stay in those houses for a very Low rate. It is very quite and amazing to Stay with Friends. The Beach there as small Moskitos which makes laying at the Beach impossible. That is the reason why the Beach is so lonley ;)

Very nice beach! The location is at the north of Koh Phangan.
The sand is very white and clean.
I did not eat here as they also got a restaurant

The location and rooms were good but the staff seem so unhappy and really make you feel like a nuisance when you need something or ask questions.

I stayed here for 4 nights with a girl I met. It is rather expensive, but you get a really beautiful bungalow. Big room. The shower is modern. You even have a fridge with some free water in it. The beach is really near and the breakfast was included in the price.

Great little silent retreat, great hosts, clean bungalows with a bit loud air-co, no noise at night, great pool, great pagoda to chill during the day or evening, ok sea to swim in, great location, 2 of the most adorable dogs to cuddle.
Caution about the bar - Drinks are quite expensive (beer 100baht, glass of wine 200baht) ;)
Would definitely come back.

I went there in hope to find a bungalow, but there was nobody at the reception. So I went somewhere else.
