Maenam Muaythai Gym Koh Samui Thailand

Great gym focused on actual muay thai. Unlike other gyms around, it's not a club, but a place where you can get needed skills.

Amazing experience in this gym! I have a good experience in western boxing and my friend was complete beginner to any boxing or combat sport and they adapt easily to our both experiences! The trainers are great and always smiling while working with you. I learned so much with them with kicks, elbowd and knees. You have group class the morning and the afternoon. I asked to the coach before and he answered very quickly its 400bht for 1 hour. I highly recommend this gym if you are in the north of Koh Samui. I'll come back for sure:)

It was a pleasure to practice Muay Thai for 1 hour session. The trainers were super nice and experienced. So it does not matter if you are a beginner or have been practicing it before. They will welcome you with open arms. Definitely worth a visit if you are around the area.

Best place to get to know Muay Thai Boxing. Oat is the best coach out there. Wether you want to get fit or learn the technique of this sport - this is the place to be! 5/5

Really intense training and responsible trainiers. I learned in just two weeks as much as in a half a year in Switzerland. They have a beginner and a fighter class, I can recommend it to everyone who is doing martial arts, doesn't matter what you train or which level you are. It was absolutly great!

I trained here for about 3 weeks.
I have trained kickboxing for about a year and muay thai for 2 months before starting here.

The gym: quite small, very nice setting in a garden just off the main road, clean, gear in good condition. Shower and toilets.
Could maybe use a few more different bags.

Trainers: I trained mainly with Oat, he is very nice, and very knowledgeable and really focus on teaching you proper technique, not just punch pads until you puke (which is quite common in other gyms I trained at in Thailand)
He always manages to keep the training at a level that you're always evolving both technique wise and physical intensity.

I definitely recommend this gym!

I loved my workout at the muaythai gym in maenam! My workout was really effective and I leard a lot of things. The coach was really nice and funny and he know exactly how much I could take. I really do sports every day, but after today's workout i almost fell asleep at dinner - it was amazing.

The gym is on the main street (Maenam Area), nice atmosphere as it surround by the tropical garden. The trainner was nice and friendly. It's not too difficult for my first time experience. I have fun with Muay Thai here. Highly reccommended!
