Maenam Bay Resort

The night receptionist was very nice and helpful but the daytime woman who checked me in was not friendly at all, unwilling to answer my questions and was actually rude. This was the main reason why I decided not to stay here longer and book another hotel for the next days. The water in the swimming pool was quite dirty and most importantly on one side of the swimming pool there was a fence made of some ugly green cloth which made the whole area look like a construction site. I didn't see anyone swimming there during my stay.

Nice hotel, rooms are nice and bad was very comfortable, i didnt have any objections.
Staff is great and very helpfull, so all in all, i was satisfied and would return again.

The room was nice and clean but we expected a better place for this kind of price. Swimming pool was under construction. The location is good, 5min to the beach by walking. Good restaurants around.

I have booked this hotel with cheapest price among all places in Samui and Phuket. So, I was a bit worried. All for naught!
It’s one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed and certainly best value for money!
It’s 2 four-story buildings with private pool, located on a quiet street.
Location, in fact, is awesome: 1 min walk to the beach (among resorts, not by some busy road), 1 min to 24/7 supermarket, 2 massage parlors, 6 cafes and bars, 2 laundry shops, a travel agency, an exchange, a liquor shop (if interested), and 5 min to night market. Like, everything you need is close by.

Room was quite basic (as expected at that price) : shower, toilet, toiletries, bed, table, wardrobe. No kettle or hair dryer. But you can get hot water on the reception 24/7, and I’ve seen people asking there for hair dryer.
Room is clean and it’s being cleaned every day. Towels are changed every 3 days, bedsheets like every 5 days, but I’m not sure. I’m a neat person, and it does not matter for me much.

Also reception are very accommodating: when I was not able to find fruits stall, they proposed to buy fruits for me. And you can get there fork/knife/spoon/plate/mug 24/7, use the fridge (“open” 8 am -9 pm).

So, it was very pleasant experience, thanks a lot to people in Maenam Bay resort.

We was planing to spend there five nights. First first two nights we were at different room on B house. There was lots of ants and bedbugs in the room Last three nights we were post to be in the superior room, but spend only one.because the smell was herrible! The room and toilet/shower smell so bad of molt. The samling was black. And the Hotel was guite a noisy, we couldnt get good night Sleep because of the noises.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Great price in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of good eats and massage places nearby.

Rooms were clean came with a fridge, AC and hot shower. The location is close to the beach but not much else. Hotel has a private pool. This hotel offered value for money.

Very cheap, it you stay here be prepare for a little shy personal, but the pool is OK, becouse the beach isn't close (5 min walk), but the beach is nice otherwise.

It's really good for its price.
Rooms are cozy and clean.
Pool is a plus.
And it's not long walk to the ocean.
