Mae Haad Pier

All ferries in Ko Tao arrive at this pier. There are good motorbike rentals, a seven eleven and coffee shops. Unfortunately there is a lot of construction noise.

Schedule twice a day In & out the island. When you leave, they will ask you collect the ticket a hour ahead and wait another hour in the heat at the tiny ticket office area. Could be better.

Absolutely terrible, no order at all, but literally the only way to enter and leave Koh Tao! I recommend getting there at least an hour before the ferry!

Port of Koh Tao, many people arriving and departing. But the Thais know how to organize themselves, each taxi has its destination and its sign.

Being a big fan of piers I thought I had seen the best on my world travels. Then I found the hidden gem Mae haad seatran pier. It's hard to put into words how spectacular it is. With its aged patina and severe lack of seating it will be the highlight of your koh Tao visit

Great experience, buying and check in for my Boat to Chumphon plus you can buy connecting bus to airport to catch the flight to Bangkok, it seems they work with airport the synergy is great, there are many restaurants and Supermarket next to it. You can also pay additional 100 baht for AC room in case you don't like the outside area " applicable to afternoon boat to Chumphon" morning boat from chumphon was AC room for free

Nothing special. There is just a bar that deserve to go there, the coconut monkey.

I advice you to go, good food and lovely staff.

Port for ferries coming from Samui. Not overly crowded and plenty of restaurants, accommodations and shops. I would recommend dining here and take a walk on the pier in the evening. Very relaxing experience.

Amazing place, the pier gets a little crowded during during the arrival amd departure of ferries though. There are multiple 7-11 and other local street food vendors right outside. You can also avail the facility of rented scooters from here.
