We booked the trip from Koh Phangan to Bangkok. It should start at 1 p.m. At the pier. The boat was about 45 minutes late. We then drove to Chumphon via Koh Tao.

Horrible organisation. We have paid more money for the fast boat. The boat was delayed for 3 hours. We asked somebody when the boat was coming. She told us for 5 times is was coming in 20 minutes. When we confronted her about this the woman for the organisation got mad at us. 100% would not reccomend

Pretty confusing for first time traveller's.

Buy your ticket online, but if it's not available you can cue up at the ticketing counter as well.

Ferries dint leave on time- the 4pm ferry left at 3pm.the 6pm ferry left at 7.30pm and arrived at 11.30pm instead of 9.30pm. The return ferry at 5am left on time but arrived only at 8.30am (again and hour and half delay).

So pls plan for delays.

Rude staff. I asked them many times if any shuttle bus/transport/bus will come to bring all ppl to the pear. The lady sad no. She confirmed, that me and child should go by ourselves (or take taxi) to the pear. I just asked other people waiting for what? Nothing? Surprise. They were waiting to the shuttle bus. Well, may be I didnt understand the joke, but anyway. I’m not the first who complained.

It was my first time travelling with Lomprayah and I chose them because despite having higher prices than the slower ferries I wanted to make sure I got to my flight on time. And in fact the timing and overall organization from ticket purchase to transport to pier, boarding and then bus to airport was great! The staff was really friendly except for the bus to the airport. On the boat they helped each passenger getting out and announcements were really clear! They also take you from their office to the pier and take care of all the luggage - this was extremely convenient for me. Timewise, we got to the airport around 30 min late, which I consider totally acceptable since you should always consider couple hrs extra to be safe with so many connections. The only reason I‘m not giving 5 stars is the interiors of the boat.it is quite old and there was water dropping from the A/C. Anyway, I totally recommend them!

Wooden benches and plastic backed chairs offers seating to travelers. There are shuttles to carrying passengers from the ticket check-in to the pier but it is close enough to walk as well. Plenty of café and restaurants within walking distance.

Still a cattle herding facility - but slightly better organized and definitely more friendly than the awfully dysfunctional Donsak office. Interesting they are trying to position themselves as high-end traveling with modern ferries. They are definitely faster than others, but still unpleasant cattle herding with rundown vessels.

I’ve travelled with Lomprayah several times now in 2019 and more recently January 2020. I’m always reminded to never underestimate the organised chaos! It might seem chaotic and overwhelming but it helps to remember this company safely and quickly get tourists to their destinations every day and at a reasonable price.

I travelled from Koh Samui to Koh Phangan yesterday a day ahead of the Full Moon Party so the pier was very busy. There was a system in place, transport the other end was arranged and staff kept everyone updated.

Unfortunately I fainted in the queue while waiting to board (stay hydrated people) and there were 2 members of staff to help me immediately - they made sure I felt better before helping me with luggage when boarding.

Also another unfortunate event after disembarking at Koh Phangan - someone had mistaken my bag for theirs and gone back to their hotel with it. But again the Lomprayah staff were responsive and reassuring. They took my details and within an hour of being at my own accommodation they phoned me to say my bag had been returned and I could come and collect it from the office.

This could have easily been a stressful day if the Lomprayah staff weren’t so professional. It shows they do know what they’re doing and care about their customers as I got such a caring and timely response yesterday despite there being hundreds of travellers.

Would definitely recommend!
