Loft Hostel Koh Tao

It is midnight on the first night we have booked, unfortunately we have another one left. Impossible to sleep. It is okay that it is a social hostel, but there are no rules and the rest of those who want to sleep is not respected, those who are in the way sing and shout (there is a receptionist and no one does anything). Furthermore, by booking for two people in a mixed shared room, they have put us in separate rooms when there were still more people to arrive and I assure you that the majority come alone. Little desire to do things well. On top of that, the receptionist or owner told us that Koh Tao was full and there was little else that could be done. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED with this hostel.

I stayed there for one night to catch the early ferry. Hostel is located 3 min from ferry departure which made it very convenient for me. There are many scuba diving schools around.
Staff was very friendly and supported me, even made an early check out for the ferry possible. The bathroom was good and clean. The bed was spacious, but the mattress a bit too hard and the AC too cold.
Hostel is next to a bar, so there was some noise and music, but I didn't feel disturbed from it. There is also a table to sit outside and they offer some activities.

Honestly loved this place. The dorms are nice with curtains, the vibe is super good. The people working there are the best and they organize nice activities too. Would definitely recommend! ̈

Place very close to the pier, and all the services around (7eleven…). It is a small hostel but very friendly and social. The owners are adorable.
The dormitory is not the best I have seen but it is more than enough for a few nights.
The atmosphere is really pleasant.

This hostel and the people I met in it were the reason I stayed in Koh Tao for 3 weeks when I was only supposed to be there for one week. Pimpim, Tun, and Hima are the long-term staff that I came to know and they are all so amazing. Loft hostel was my home for a little while thanks to them and all the wonderful people I met in that hostel. Such a fun time.

My partner and I stayed in the 4 person dorm (which is the dorm with air con). Conveniently located right next to the pier and a 7/11 as well as plenty of ATMs you can't fault the location.

The dorm bed is comfortable and has a lot of space for bags, though the mattress/pillows are not softest so if you're sensitive to that, you might find them a little hard. Your area also comes with a plug and light. There is a privacy curtain on the bed & AC and fan work pretty well.

Towels are only provided at extra cost, (deposit) otherwise you need your own towel

The bathroom is clean with one shower and toilet shared between the dorm. Shower gel and shampoo is provided.

There is a bar on site with happy hour beveragesfor socialising. It does not serve food but there's a lot of places around that do.

Cheap place and very well located. Good for a day or two but on the budget end.

- Pier is rlly close, perfect for diving
- Super friendly staff, especially Boss PimPim
- Great parties and they will show you around Koh tao
- Best cocktails on the Island

I was in Thailand 2 Months and I must to admit that this hostel is the best hostel in I ever been in Thailand, the staff was amazing, and sanitary in the room was great! In addition the vibes in the hostel is so friendly, it is nice to meet good people there, so if you are single traveler this is excellent choice for you

Very very friendly and genuine staff! Ryan is a very polite and kind guy and Phyo at the bar is a great genuine guy. This place was amazing. They serve breakfast everyday too

Nice hostel situated close to the pier.

While the falicities are nothing to shout about, the front desk clerk, Ryan, is honestly one of the nicest people I have met and is a total credit to the hostel. The free breakfast is also a nice addition, with its freshly ground coffee.
