Lamai Viewpoint

An underrated spot in Samui in my opinion. The view was nice and they had a smart option to have a cable car for people who don’t want to walk all the way up and down the hill, although you have to walk a small amount to get to the cable car. Surprisingly, the food and drinks here were amazing too! Reasonably priced with friendly staff and the seating area was so relaxing. If you don’t want to eat at the restaurant, they also have a nice seating area above. The bathrooms were also clean and well maintained.

Look, place is ok. Decent view and a restaurant/bar with a view is always good.

It does cost 200 baht to take a very short cable car up, just to spend money at the restaurant. An entrance fee if you will

Beautiful views of Lamai from the top, however websites advised entry was free but this is not the case. They ask for a 100 Baht visitor fee at a minimum, where you can climb to the Viewpoint by foot, or pay 200 Baht to take the cable car up and back. They also do a zip line for 1000 Baht per person, which is a lot of fun. They do also offer a drone video and photos for the zip line at an extra 200 Baht per person. Although the costs add up, it really is worth it for the views. Plus the little bar/cafe at the top is a nice place to relax and enjoy the views

Nice place with beautiful view. Cable car for 200THB per person. But better is little hiking for 100THB per person.

Pro CZ: Rozhodně doporučujeme jít pěšky a nebýt línej tlustej Amík, který si stěžuje, že už i k té zubačce se musí do kopce. Je to fakt jen kousek, cesta na vyhlídku asi 7 minut, zubačka ušetří 2 minuty hezký výhled

Super friendly staff, nice views and good vibes. You can take the cable car up for 100 if you don’t want to walk. Very convenient:)

Get the cable car to the viewpoint and enjoy a drink or ice cream. The staff are very friendly. On the way back, you can stop at the fish spa. Just be warned these fish are bigger than the ones you get in tanks in shops, so they do a good job, but it is pretty intense!

Great view. You need to buy ticket if you don’t want to hike your way up. The zip-line was great

You have to pay 100 bath entrance fee for a vieuwpoint that you can see for free in other places.fuitshakes don't taste like anything! Save your time and skip this one!

It has a funny fish spa, cable car, zipline, and a full menu with a good view at the top! (Free wifi included) With a cool breeze and good vibes, it's a great place to visit with your family and friends.

A must visit spot for great views of Lamai. Cable car ride to the viewpoint is a good option if you want to skip the hike due to hot weather. Food at the cafe was good.

Was a humid day when we hike it. View wasn’t the best but on a clear day you can see quite a lot. Cafe at the top was pricey but you don’t need to purchase anything to enjoy the view

You can walk up or by cable car.it's not too far.good view and there's a little bar for to have some drink.

It cost 100 THB per person to hike up. The hike is short, but steep. You can pay 100THB additionally to take the cable car. We hiked, it was fine. There is a small cafe at the top to order some refreshments and enjoy the magnificent view.

Great view, definitely not worth the walk though. I would recommend paying got the lift thing. Scary but fun on the way up.

Einige Stufen geht es steil nach oben (Info für Menschen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität) bis zum Cable Car, dann ist man rasch oben -200 Bath pro Person. Eine nette Bar mit kleiner Aussichtsplattform mit Sicht über die Bucht. Der kleine Wasserfall, Valentine Stone, Fisch Spa, ist hübsch angelegt und einen Ausflug wert.

Eintritt kostet 100 Bath. Der Weg zum Aussichtspunkt ist steil. Für 100 Bath kann dieser per Seilbahn abgekürzt werden. In dem Eintrittspreis ist ein toller Blick über Lamai sowie das Fischspa inklusive.

Good area. The kids enjoyed the zip line. Very friendly staff. And the bar is nice with a very good view.

We visited this place in the afternoon when the colors in the sky was at its best. The panaromic view you get to see from the top of the blue sea behind the Lamai townt is splendid. We paid around 200 baht each for the cable car ride (to the top) which includes the fish spa, the fountain and the Valentine stone, though you can opt to go on your foot and just pay the entry fee this is 100 baht. Later we also decided to go for the zip line. The experience from the zip line was one of it's own. The staffs were very warm and friendly. Overall if you skip the cable car, the zip line then 100 baht is not bad for the experience, personally we had a great time here.

Great place on top of mountain. A beautiful view of sea and mountain scenery can be discovered here.

This place only opens during day time. At night you see the "lamai viewpoint", but the gate is closed.
