Khao Sok Jungle Hut

One of the best memories of our trip to Thailand.
The owner couldn't have been nicer.
The beautiful resort in the middle of nature.
200% recommended.

The positive first: we had a hut right on the river and groups of monkeys came by several times a day. These could be observed perfectly. The rooms are a bit carelessly furnished and the bathroom was small, dirty and not nice.
The location is good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The elephant sanctuary nearby is also beautiful.

The bungalow we got was in a terrible condition and the photos on booking did not reflect it. Shabby walls, few electrical sockets, no TV or bedside tables. However, the service was very nice and helpful

We loved our stay here at Jungle Huts resort. Good location and accommodation in the jungle. Felt very peaceful listening to the noises of the jungle.

The staff were extremely helpful and helped us to book an amazing tour of Khao Sok lake and onwards travel to Krabi. The lady at reception, Siri, went above and beyond for us which was really great and very helpful! Definetly would recommend staying here.

Lady at the reception could not be any more helpful - true superstar. Helped us with organising, held our bags for us, and was very patient.

Room was dirty and smelled like urine.
Behind the bed was a mouse's nest with a mouse. The gardener started to work with the brushcutter at 8: 00 a.m. - with short interruptions, this went on all day. The environment itself is great.

A simple, clean and well located hotel at an unbeatable price. It deserves a little renovation of the bathrooms and a more affordable breakfast.
Perfect and very nice staff. Ultra competent guide who enchanted us (ask for Nupat). In short, a good choice!

I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel:

-They wanted to charge us 300 baht for a cheap glass that was accidentally broken in our room, which is probably at least 10 times more than its actual worth.
-Is seems that there is lack in staff members, therefore did not refill anything unless specifically asked during our 3 night stay. In addition, We didn’t get extra blanket although it’s very basic request.
- While the regular rooms were okay and the AC worked fine, they were not very clean and the sheets had stains.
- Our transportation booking to Koh Samui was poorly organized.
- The overall atmosphere was unwelcoming and we felt like a burden rather than guests.
- The bungalows were not well-maintained and were filled with mosquitoes. Although we requested to move to another room, we still found insects during our stay.

On the positive note, the breakfast was good and we enjoyed the day and night trips that we took.

Decent room in good price, good to stay for a night or two, breakfast not warm enough in my opinion but tasty in general. Wonderful area, very green around.

Nice service, nice location. Yes, you can be closer to Kao sok boat trips, but down the road are lots of restaurants and bars. Room was mediocre, but we did not get the best rooms. My mates changed the room later and we're satisfied.

It was an amazing experience! Clean nice rooms, good location, very convenient. There were plenty of other things around, restaurants, nature trails, and a river. Right now it is a drought season, but we still enjoyed canoeing.
The staff was extremely helpful, kind, and spoke good English. Made us feel really welcome in this place.
I also enjoyed the breakfast in the morning, good variety of choices.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in Khaosok, because it provides excellent service and leaves a pleasant impression about this place.

On all tours we had great guides.
Specially the jungle tracking tour was great. Our guide showed and explained us many trees and animals which we would not have seen if we were on this track by our own.
It is really worth it!

Room was spacious and sparkling clean. Staff were friendly esp Pinas who helped me with the check in. Beds very comfortable. Big parking area.
Direct access to the river!

This was an awesome place to stay while we were in Khao Sok. The bungalows are clean and comfortable with mosquito nets, AC, fan and nice bathrooms. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful (they’ll book you on excellent tours around the park, including to the lake and when you do you’ll get a free night safari!). Some of our best Thailand adventures were on the tours booked at jungle huts reception. Breakfast is small but tasty and you’re within walking distance of lots of other great food options in town. 15 minute walk to park headquarters too! Enjoy the monkey business in the mornings too ;) Would happily stay here again

Cute little bungalows surrounded by lots of greenery, nothing amazing but worth the price of a stay here. Good location for visiting khao sok.

Amazing place! 10/10 for comfort, location and friendliness. The rooms were spacious, clean and beds very comfortable. The owner lady was extremely kind and gave us water shoes for free to use on our overnight tour at Khao Sok. They also let us store our luggage for free while we were on the tour. The overnight tour was also amazing, the views were breathtaking, the food was delicious and our tour very well organised. Our only suggestion for improvement would be for Our guide who didn't explain much to people who weren't in the front and didn't wait for people at the back. Overall, super good stay! Very much recommend both the hotel and the overnight tour!

Good room, saw monkeys outside our window in the morning. However they’re very cheap with breakfast. We had breakfast included with our booking but you could only order dishes that were less than 100 bahts on the menu (only a third of the menu maybe) or pay extra + small portions. You also have to pay for extra if you want more toasts …

Nice place. Bathrooms are a little old and the atmosphere at the common areas could be improved:)

Can totally recommend the Jungle Hostel which is also part of this area. It’s a small hostel with only 6-beds, but the manager Sunny is the best! Thanks Sunny for the lovely stay, the way you carefully take care of all your customers is very special!

We had a great stay at this really lovely resort:) super friendly & helpful staffs. Simple rooms in a cool area. And we even saw a monkey:) Close to the Nationalpark & great restaurants:)
