What a great restaurant! The food is heavenly, presentation great, staff smooth and friendly. Dishes are Thai but given a modern twist. I have never had a better meal anywhere on Koh Samui!

Worst pad Thai… it taste like tomato paste in it, and I asked for no egg.came with egg all over it. My daughter asked for no siracha sauce on tofu… came with lots! And I’m assuming the owner comes over and asks why I don’t like egg? She hovered over us, very uncomfortable! Dessert was good but small! Every thing over priced!

Wonderful local restaurant the food was excellent great range and daily specials some of best tasting food I’ve had in Thailand. Southern Thai with the chiefs own touches. The grilled seafood with mango salsa was a unexpected taste sensation 10 out of 10. The hostess was a wonderful woman readily and willing to give a description of the specials of the day or any of the menu options, made you feel very welcome and at home, the staff were also extremely friendly and attentive to the customers needs happy and proud of their restaurant and justifiably so a great and memorable experience was had. A return visit for sure when next in Ko Samui

This was recommended to me by our bike rental shop owner and it did not disappoint! All the food was delicious the all the slow cooked beef feel apart your mouth. Service was fantastic. Eat here

I had the chance to try Kawin's Kitchen recently and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good curry!
The spice level was perfect, and the prices are very reasonable.
The service was also good.
The only downside was that the restaurant was a bit hot.
All in all, very satisfying experience.

We usually dont make bad reviews as everyone has his own taste, but this really was the worst thai food we have ever aten in Thailand and we already spent years traveling through Thailand.
All food is full of fat and ways tolsweet. It has nothing to do with authentic thai food and is a shame. We are really sorry that we supported that with our first and last visit instead of supporting all the honest thai people who make really thai food.

Really good authentic Thai food which tastes great. The host is really friendly and enthusiastic to share her story and the origins of her dishes. Waiters are a bit shy but happy to help and suggest dishes. Definitely worth the walk from Banyan Tree resort, just be careful walking along the road.

We were very impressed by the menu at Kawin. Very warm service and impressive hospitality. They also cater to Vegan and vegetarian palate apart from seafood and meat lovers. A special mention about their raw mango chicken salad! Its so simple and flavourful. A must try! Loved their chicken satay as well. Will be visiting again for lunch tomorrow

I went with my boyfriend's family for a dinner. The restaurant was so pleasant to sit in. The food was both very tasty and interesting. The host was super nice and professional and the whole experience was very good.
I am vegan and the rest are not and we all had wonderful options. Would recommend!

Kawin’s Kitchen might just be the best kept secret in Koh Samui. Out of the way just north of Lamai this little place has consistently good food. Very good in fact. Well worth the trip. Highly recommended.

We had the fried chicken rice dish served in a pineapple. Wow it was so delicious - highly recommend! Plus they have a cooking school, so we're probably going to sign up and learn how to make it ourselves:)

Wonderful atmosphere and exceptionally good food at reasonable prices. Wish we had found it earlier because we would have been back a few times.

Best Thai food, good place to hang out for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Kawins Kitchen its for me one of the best Thai food in Lamai.fried rice for example are very colorful and rich on ingredients.
Owners are 2 sister who are very professional about service and quality. 1 of the owner speak perfectly english.

Thai green curry AMAZING, I wanted more but couldn't fit it in, beautiful means great price and excellent service. I highly reccomend Kawins Kitchen
