Worst gym i have ever been to. 50% of equipment is not usable, the other 50% you dont want to use because of rust. Pretty much the only usable stuff is free weight. The price of 250 baht is an absolute joke!

Perfect location. Easy walking distance to town center but far enough away to escape the party chaos and rest. Incredibly kind and helpful staff made it one of my favorite hostels.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the hotel for you! Good welcome and attentive staff. I recommend

BEST PLACE IN KOH PANGANG! Location is amazing, the bedrooms are clean and comfortable. Staff and the manager Marissa are super friendly and will give you lots of tips of what to do. Furthermore there is an amazing gym and Muay Thai gym that offer the best prices on the whole island. I highly recommend this place because I had an amazing time here and will definitely be coming back to stay here.

The Gym is a catastrophe. Some cables from the machines were ripped off, the machines were really worn & rusty and because of that rough-running. Plates and dumbbells are laying all over the floor. The floor overall was really dusty.
They charge 250 Baht, which is - at least - 100 Baht too much for this gym. They even charged an extra 20 Baht for a towel after I asked for it.

Top class. 250bhat for a day pass. Very accommodating and let me use the boxing ring for shadow boxing and allowed me to use their boxing gloves. Best gym I was in throughout my 3 weeks in Thailand.

The best gym in Koh Phangan with many options of exercise equipment including Mauy Thai as well.

Muay Thai class was great. My friend and I were both first timers and had never done any fighting before. The trainer was super cool and funny, showed us the basics and let us do some fighting. I'll definitely recommend this place for Muay Thai classes for beginners (can't say much about advanced techniques).

It is oldskool as the maschines are pretty old - which doesn’t mean that they’re not working.
The owner takes really good care about the whole place and I recommend everyone who wants to do a sweaty workout to go there!

It you are looking for a super chilled out well equipped accommodation in Koh Phagnan then this is it. Super friendly owner and deputy. Super soft beds, AC, individual bed light, super relaxed place.

Gym is great a bit dated but clean, well kept and all kit works great. Close to everything. Top recommend stay.

Friendly and professional. Went to the gym for a muay thai class (I'm a total beginner) and loved it. The class was challenging yet fun. Thanks for a great experience! Highly recommended

This has been the worst place during our vacation. It started with the bathroom - it was covered with some black stuff that looked like mushrooms, the tap and the toilet flush were all covered with a lot of disgusting limescale. When we called the owner of the place instead of just admitting the problem she was quiet rude and tried to ensure us there is nothing wrong with this. She called the girl from the gym reception who is also a receptionist for the lodge and also a cleaner for this entire place and made her clean everything in front of us asking whether we are happy now - that’s when we should have noticed something is wrong here. I felt really sorry for the girl. The next morning my boyfriend decided to relax in the hammock on the terrace and the line that was holding it up ripped off and he fell with his back and head on the tile floor. Later we noticed this line did rip before but they just put it back. Clearly 1 person in the staff is not enough to maintain 2 places at the same time so it’s becoming not just dirty but also unsafe.
Other than that, the area around the place does not look like you would expect from the pictures at all, we did not find the pool or the bar (maybe because we were not shown around), it’s just some small dirty jungle with lots of mosquitos. To get to the building you have to walk along a very narrow walkway between some storage or garage areas which is quite dark and a bit scary at night. There is no actual reception, the AC was at 1,5m blowing directly at the bed while there were no proper blankets provided, the gym looked quite outdated and did not have AC. Just avoid this place unless you really have no choice, though we easily found another place next door even on a full moon party day.

The gym is very expensive and offers not a lot in addition its not very clean and the maschines are not working properly

Really beautiful, peaceful eco lodge. Rooms were perfect, clean and roomy with air con and en suite bathrooms. 4 beds in a dorm is ideal if you’re travelling in a small group. The owner and staff are really helpful, lots of great tips on what to do around the island. Pool is phenomenal, so beautiful and right by the beach. The actual gym is very well equipped and has everything you could need plus extras like gymnastics rings and yoga hammocks. Would 100% stay here again.

I totally recommend the Jungle Gym Hostel. We stayed there for one week and we couldn't have had a better time. Fist of all Marissa and her staff are incredible. Such nice and down to earth people with whom you can have good conversations. Although we did not use the gym it looked like you can have a really nice workout there. They are constantly improving on their installations for example building a new Muay Thai Boxing Ring. They seem to really put a lot of effort in the Hostel.
Furthermore the pool area is amazing. Such a nice place to hang out, have a swim in the huge pool or just get some sun.
I really loved it, staying at the Hostel, and I am definitely planning to go back some day.

Great trip, lovely team of management, it was our friends birthday and we got very well looked after, beautiful private beach and lovely pool area. Rooms were clean and tidy and we rarely wanted to leave the hotel! Thanks Marissa

The equipment is a bit worn and rusty and u will sure break a sweat in this place with no A/C but it does the job and its nice to be where it is in hadrin.i will return for sure none the less

I give it 1 star for the opening hours.worst condition gym I have ever seen.not worth 1 baht. Sorry. Goto to the one in Thongsala instead.
