Jungle Garden

Very unpleasant experience!

First of all the place is inside a swamp. Stinky and full of humidity. The windows even can't open to ventilate the room.
The “bathroom” has no roof so it’s get dirty and full of bags all the time.

Furthermore, the owner is really not nice. I told her in advance that I’m staying for 2 weeks for sure and maybe for one month in total. She told me that the price for a month is 10k and we agreed that I pay her now 5k for 2 weeks.
Before the 2 weeks finished, I told her that I’m not gonna continue for another 2 weeks. Than she got really mad and told me that the price is now 500 per day because I’m not gonna continue for a month. Of course I didn’t want to pay because we didn’t agree on that and she never told me that if I’m not gonna continue, the price will rise up. Then she kept sending me disgusting messages and told me “go away, I don’t need customers like you, people pay me more on booking”.

This is not how you treat a customer! If the price is 10k you should ask for it at the beginning, be more clear about the prices and of course not blame the customer!

The turn from the highway is a terrible dirt road with potholes and rocks (at least a little - 20 meters).
There is no parking as such, just a small patch of dry earth in front of the bushes, which are also the fencing of the territory. The area is in disrepair, it feels like the hotel is just living out its last years. The herbal sauna may work, but its neglected appearance did not make me want to even try it.
No one greeted us; it felt like there was no one there. We had to literally search around the territory for at least someone to ask about check-in.
There are almost no questions about the bungalow itself - for this price it is quite suitable. Bed linen with stains of unknown origin. The gaps in the bungalow are compensated by a curtain above the bed, which protects against possible insects.
In general, the room is cozy, a spacious terrace with a comfortable hammock, a lot of plants around, but that’s where the positives end. There is a shared kitchen, like in hostels, you can cook food (possibly wash clothes, but I'm not sure). The hotel itself is located 30 meters from the highway, you can hear the traffic very well. The main disadvantage is a bunch of roosters that live in almost every house in this area. They scream every time! 3-4 hours!
Moreover, across one bungalow the Thai who lived there had his own rooster, which he kept tied on his terrace. Of course, this rooster also crowed. Out of three nights I did not spend a single one without waking up at night or early in the morning from the crowing of roosters. I definitely won't come back here again.

Definitely don't go there. We had booked 2 nights. When we arrived the place was deserted. We got the manager on the phone who told us that we had canceled the stay. The reservation site told us that it was the establishment that could not honor the reservation. (reservation made several days in advance and confirmed on the reservation site). No one warned us before our arrival. We had to find other accommodation urgently. Plus the manager was laughing when we told her that it was a fullmoon evening and that all the hotels were full.

We really enjoyed our time here. If you like staying close to nature, this place is for you. Squirrels, gekkos, butterflys and also a few cute cats ;) Bed is comfy, the mood light is brilliant, the fan was more than enough during the night. Loved the open air shower as well:) Because we like to cook, the kitchen was a nice extra. Also the owner saved us by booking a taxi for us 4: 30 in the morning.

Such a great place in a great location
Bungalos in a green jungle garden with banana plants, the room is nice and coazy, shower and bathroom is roofless so you can see the sky and trees and the balcony has table chair and hamak so you can relax and enjoy your tine quitly. The fan was more 5han enogh and i stayd here for two months on the 'hot'season. Really enjoys my time here, the owner is so qute and helpfull and i woyld deffently recomand

Cannot recommend this place enough. The staff are very friendly and down to earth, the bungalow huts are extremely clean and everything is in good working order and the environment around is really calming. It really is like being in a jungle garden. The lady who we spoke with was pottering around on days doing the gardening and you can tell she takes pride in her accommodation, always making sure we were comfortable. The kitchen is help yourself and there is a stove and fridge and drinking water which was a bonus. The huts themselves had a chair and table, pillows to relax on the floor with a comfortable carpet and the hammock was sturdy and also relaxing. The bed was comfortable with a mosquito net and there was nets on the windows. The bathroom had no roof so was essentially outside which we found refreshing. Showers were hot and we got clean towels. 700 baht a night we found to be one of the cheaper places we’ve stayed in and I cannot recommend this place enough! We extended once already but we would have stayed longer if we had not got an onward journey.

Great stay. The bungalows are clean, comfortable and spacious. The Hammock was brilliant. The bedding was super fresh.

The staff are very friendly, it has a fully stocked kitchen. Clean water is provided for hot drinks.

The bungalows are set back from the main road. A 7/11 is only a 10 minute walk away. The amazing Srithanu / Zen Beach areas are a pleasant and flat 30 minute walk.

Be prepared for the sounds of jungle life around you

A horror. The worst "hotel" we stayed in in Thailand. Abandoned place without charm, infested with insects. Very rudimentary, old-fashioned, no comfort. Does not correspond at all to the photos which must be dated many years ago. No maintenance of the place. What a shame. Uninteresting location.
The only positive point is that the young girl at the reception is friendly. Go your way.

The place is very nice and quiet, bungalows are hidden into the nature:).
The owner is very helpful and kind and can arrange you a trip on the island either a motorbike rental!

I simply love it here. I had a very specific picture in my mind when I was trying to think about what my accommodation should be when I’m in Thailand for the first time. I wanted to swing in a hammock all day long with some birds singing and a lot of trees around me - and that’s exactly how it is here. It’s the perfect amount of Djungle feeling. I instantly booked it here when I have seen it at Agoda. And it’s so cheap here, too! The lights in the bungalow are so cute (unfortunately they aren’t light enough for my preference, but that’s ok!), I love that you‘ll be showering with a roof of banana leaves. You could easily chat with your neighbour or be completely anonymous, you‘ll have enough space. The hammock is a little bit old and some strings have already ripped, but that didn’t stopped me from sitting in it 24-7:) I also changed my plans so that I could book two more nights here because I like it so much. The owner is very friendly and I think a normal fan is absolutely enough - I didn’t miss an AC much. I‘m sitting on my balcony when typing this and a little lizard is chilling next to me, it’s raining and you could roll yourself in some blanket and enjoy the raining nights here like you’re in a movie. I also have seen (and heard) all type of animals and I love to wake up to the sound of them. And you could also hear some Tokeh-Geckos! You’ll know that you‘ve heard them when you do.:)

Owenr is kind and rent a bike.
But without aircondition in jungle was quite hard.
But atmosphere there was good

There is the best herbal sauna on the island. You can go with ur friends there and get a priver relaxing day there. Also the owner makes a very testy herbal tea after the sauna. The owner is amazing and friendly. I love the place and the atmosphere there

Good bungalows! Many greens around. Nice host. Common kitchen. Bungalows pretty close to each other tho. And also no sound proof at all. So be ready to hear your neighbors sneezing and birds singing. Overall we loved it.:)
