Janpa Resort reviews
10A good hotel in this area, clean linen and towels, relatively new everything, clean area, 15 minutes maximum to the pier, met from the pier and taken to a small room, a beautiful beach nearby, but the sea is not for swimming, muddy and shallow
We were her for one night. All employees were great an did everything for our great stay (laundry service, taxi service, great cocktails, recommendation at breakfast…). Everything was great. The location is next to the beach and has a wonderful pool.
The room was clean, simply nice and renovated (we were in the older building).
We had a great stay and can highly recommend.
Janpa resort is a very well maintained resort. The friendliness of the staff and the operators of this accommodation is amazing. You feel at home and it is a welcome place to relax.
The owner speaks good English, so nothing stands in the way of communication.
The small town has a shop, excellent street food, a beautiful beach and a few small cafes and bars. A place where you want to stay! The villagers take you in almost like family and are very helpful.
I would give 10 stars!
Really nice bed and breakfast. The manager Isara is really nice and helpful.
She arranged a tour to see the pink dolphins (the local attraction) and a few more things to visit around including a fiskespa and the local temple Wat Don Sak.
We really enjoyed our experience. Google translator was needed in most places around.
The location is close to the Ferry. It is very handy to visit Koh Phangan and Koh Samui.
Stunning staff service. My girlfriend was very disappointed with Donsak area because didn't offer tourist activities but we decided to ask the Janpa staff. They organise an excellent day on the area for us at a very affordable price. I strongly recommend to ask the resort staff if you are looking for things to do in Donsak area. Further more they also offer local transport to the ferry piers cheaper than a regular taxi.
Good offer to choose the breakfast, omelette, pancakes, sandwiches, sausages, eggs, jam, orange juice, tea, coffee.
Near the hotel there are two or three medium price restaurants and bar on the beach (1 minute walking) and 4 or 5 local stores. Is in an excellent area for tourist but the majority of them are locals.
For European An imposition on tourists. Associated with Janpa Garden.
Room smells moldy and musty. Mattress topper moldy. Carelessly furnished, hardly any storage space.
Simple place that is more frequented by locals.
Too expensive (almost 900 THB), as there are hardly any alternatives before the ferry.
Most of the rooms were damp in the morning due to the climate, hence the mold.
ห้องดีสอาดใก้ลชิดทะเล เช้ามีอาหารเช้าและโจ๊กแบบมุฟเฟต์พร้อมขนมอร่อยของท้องสรุป. คุ้มค่า สุดยอดครับ
Due to the lack of other overnight accommodations nearby in front of the ferry, these owners set a high price, which is not justified by anything else. The bed doesn't even have a nightstand. The air conditioner is noisy. The rooms are sad. The sea is not for swimming. Especially if the tide is low. Breakfast is funny. If it cost 600 baht, I would give it a 5th race. And the price doesn't justify it at all. Expensive for an overnight stay before the ferry
