InterContinental Koh Samui Resort, an IHG Hotel

Staying at Intercontinental Samui for the second time, and once again, they've exceeded my expectations. From the heartwarming welcome to the delightful surprise they had in store for my birthday, the attention to every little detail was impeccable. The staff went above and beyond, serving with genuine warmth and offering valuable recommendations for exploring the beautiful Samui island. This has undoubtedly been my best hotel experience in Thailand, leaving me thoroughly impressed.

Worth of money. You can’t imagine how beautiful is this place. Sunrise to sunset you can’t imagine how beautifully your day will pass.

One of the best stays we’ve had. Stayed there with my wife and newborn daughter. Felt like we were taken care of the whole time but not too much so we could just relax and enjoy our time away from home. We would definitely come back once our daughter is grown up to enjoy more of those marine activities. Just would like to thank you for the wonderful stay

The hotel is sensational and leaves nothing to be desired. A dream! If available, I would always take a room with a sea view. Parking is free. The hotel is remote. Perfect for relaxing and recovering.

Especially the sunset scenery is unforgettable

The InterContinental is a 5 star hotel and it is located on top of a hill. You will drive up from the main road with a buggy in about 10 minutes. There is an outdoor pool that becomes an infinity pool with beautiful views of the jungle and sunsets over the sea. The highlight is the AirBar, the evening program begins at sunset accompanied by relaxed live music with a direct view of the sea. A selection of cocktails and snacks, definitely worth a visit and experience!

Drinks at Airbar, followed by dinner at flames, perfect romantic evening! Highly recommend, great band at Flames during dinner!

I ám staying at the resort currently. The rooms and the service is amazing. The spa treatments are just out of the world. Super relaxing, do not miss it.

AWESOME - 6/5 I am totally falling in love with everything they have offered.

I’ve been there in April 2022 for 3 nights. There was an incident that they had to clean their water tank and somehow I was taking a shower at the same time so in the end they had to rearrange me another room for shower plus some aircon problem - however the way their staffs handled the incident and issues was remarkable. I had only respect to their team, nothing less, thank you for such a great hospitality amid all the challenges.

Facility was really good, well maintain and provide you with everything you need. The view is not as spectacular as some other resorts in Koh Samui, but still 8.5 out of 10. That said apart from that they beat other resorts with what they offer. Room was spacious enough to provide you with a comfort, very comfy bed, spacious balcony that you can really enjoy not a small balcony for hanging just your swimsuit. Not a very new hotel, but it’s in a very superb condition. Common facility was also ok, fitness is a but small but next to the beach, recommend you to run along the beach in the morning rather than on the treadmill. Morning activity such as yoga, etc also available but I didn’t get to try.

Food was great, delicious with variety. Staff were very nice and always attended to your need, it was a very enjoyable moment every time me and my wife we had our breakfast or lunch. Dinner however was a bit disappointed because it was a buffet with not so delicious food. Not too sure if it’s because of covid or what but they should have done it a lot better. Cocktail was ok, nothing too special but meet the normal standards for such 5 stars hotel. Dinner at the beaches was great, friendly staff, and good food.

Services - I’d give 7 stars out of 5. Again, in my case there was an incident, but they managed it very well. They were friendly and calm, and very attend to your frustration and need.

I’d say overall they provide you with what you expect, a very high-standard resorts, comfy and superb great experiences. I’d come back again for sure, it’s in my top 10 list when I want to relax and think of nothing but to enjoy. Cheers.

Oh its such a lovely place with the most amazing views! We just stayed for a transit and the bed, the shower, everything about the room was so comfy and cozy! A special shout out to all the staff, the friendliest and the most accommodating people you'll meet! They will greet you with a smile and make sure your stay is perfect! An awesome vacation in Koh Samui, if you don't mind being spoilt ;)

Our stay for the second time in a year was just outstanding. This property has everything that you need for a holistic escape - views, food, service, beach and water views from each area are unparalleled and it takes years of vision and compassion for anyone to develop and operate a property of this magnitude. Our gratitude to everyone who operates or owns this jewel- we are going back with lots of memories and happiness.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed at. Treated by all of the staff like royalty. Amazing location and facilities. This was like a slice of paradise. The food was superb and rooms spotless. A stay that dreams are made of. Will really love to go back. Well done

Our stay here has been amazing to say the least. Staffs are attentive, the hotel is clean and top notch, the views are amazing. My wife and I had a great time. I had an incident with a swollen insect bite and the staff immediately arrange a car for me to go to the hospital to get it checked.

Special mention to Botun, Duke, Nok, Lek, who were really nice to us, professional and exceptional service. Sorry I couldn’t remember all the names, everyone was great!

Frühstück und Essen sehr lecker, die Mitarbeiter immer freundlich. Und der Sonnenuntergang an der Bar ist jeden Tag ein Highlight.

Amazing place especially the sunset at Air bar. Drinks are great and service is kind. The view is just best on the island. Don’t miss it it is just perfect.

Fantastic hotel, I was lucky enough to stay in the 3 bedroom water view villa and the beach villa, both are great. The staff were wonderful and made our stay pleasant. The only small problem I had, just me being fussy, I found the desert menu to be very limited but besides that everything else was wonderful
