Indie Hostel Koh Tao

What I value most about this hostel is the staff. I was only there for 24 hours but I had some problems and they solved them with a lot of empathy and kindness. I was assisted by two very friendly girls at the reception, and also by a boy at the reception, called Tata, who helped me recover one of my lost suitcases at 5 in the morning.
The rooms are spacious, and the way the beds are organized gives a lot of privacy. The air conditioning is on and the room is a little cold but inside the room where you sleep there is a perfect temperature.
Clean bathroom.
It is in the middle of a party street, you can hear music from outside and you can sleep without problems.
Good place to return.

Really small rooms, there is no option for lighting in the room or changing the air conditioner, the showers are on the floor above

Unbelievable that they managed to make the service worse than the hotel.
In addition to the fact that there is no room to move in the room, there is music all night even in the "quiet side of the hotel", a smell of rust in the shower and the lamps do not work and are not repaired, the people at the reception were the least helpful people I have met in Thailand so far, certainly and in the hostel.
I really really really do not recommend getting close!

Room is so tiny. Super loud and noise from opposite bar.can’t sleep till the bar is close at 1-2 am. But so comfy, clean and reasonable price

We were travelling by nightly ferry from surat thani to koh tao and the hostel had no clean room for us during our check-in at 6am.we chose that one because of 24 reception desk as we just wanted to take a shower&nap until 10: 30am (diving). Everything was confirmed via booking chat.this situation was really annoying for us.if they would informed us before we wouldn't took a taxi to this place.

Good hostel experience, clean and organised - lots of chill out spaces and the shower / toilets were always very clean. Staff very lovely and friendly. Stayed in 16 bed dorm which is honestly quite a lot but it didn’t feel like that as the room is very spacious and gives private space. Would stay here again.

This was the most delicious place to have your breakfast (at least 2 year ago). Now it is too much salt in everything. Coffee is still good tho. (I guess cause of no salt in it).
