Il barracuda

My Japanese friend told me that the vongole was delicious, so I went there, but I was disappointed to find that the vongole was super salty.

I also ate barracuda, but I wasn't impressed. If you served it with lemon, I wouldn't have to worry about the fishy smell.

Too salty! Too salty! Too oily! Too oily! Vongole bianco!

I told him the pasta tasted too salty, the owner said made it again. Later the pasta came, but it was just the same thing reheated.

Next, main dish Barracuda was no taste!

I looked in the kitchen they were totally 4 Thai or Myanmar woman chef:)
That way taste wasn’t good? !

So what happens?

I already known this restaurant so long time and now I am super shock!

I will never go to this restaurant that cannot maintain quality.

The ambience was great. Located directly on a lake. The employees are very accommodating. Unfortunately there are a lot of aggressive mosquitoes, but you are given mosquito spray straight away and incense sticks are set up to drive the mosquitoes away, which really helps and you can eat in a relaxed manner.

An Italian Man from Tuscany can only serve amazing food! Wood Fired Pizza, plus plus plus! Even the wine is correct. The Grilled Red Snapper his friends caught today - real and even better. Salads amazing. Fresh Pasta - Wow!

Delicious pizza made on very thin and very tasty dough. Panna cotta is a masterpiece. Highly recommended! By the way, be aware of lots of mosquitos and use repellent asap:)

Incredible seafood prepared fresh. I personally loved the ceviche and the pizzas they made.

My wife and I are on our honeymoon and had a wonderfully romantic dinner here. Everything was delicious, the seafood was so fresh! (Do yourself a favour and get the fish carpaccio - out of control). Francesco (the owner, who catches the fish himself) and his beautiful nonna made us feel so welcome. After dinner and wine, we had the pleasure of dancing in the twilight on the deck. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Very sweet owners and very solid Italian cucina, pizza is solid and vongole/cozze and fish carpaccio (as fresh as it gets, the owner goes fishing by himself!) are off the hook!

Great ceviche with friendly staff. Service is a bit slow and I wish I could sit closer to the water for a cosier experience.

We are Italian and as we stepped in we felt home. Amazing handmade Italian pizza, the real one with Italian ingredients.
We love also ethnic and Thai food, and here you can try special food from Thai and Burmese tradition.
Francesco is a super chef and fisher and all the fish is super fresh, daily catched by the chef.
Highly recommended.
We will return again.

Pizza was fantastic. Have to wait long for the dinner. Pasta for my daughter comes after we finished our pizza.

Very tasty fish cappacio and pasta. Fish were very fresh and also comes in good portions.prawns pasta also very tasty. One of the best meal I had in phangan.

Being a vegetarian, I tried only the pizza here and it was very disappointing.
There are much better places on the island if you crave real Italian pizza.
The pasta and fish dishes on the other tables looked very good; this must be the their speciality! But the pizza needs to be improved a lot.
Owners and staff are really lovely and welcoming.

Best pizza in Thailand! Napoli style beautiful and simple ingredients as a pizza should be.
Excellent seafood freshly caught each day and a relaxed atmosphere.

Wonderful Italian food cooked with love. Fresh fish caught by the owners grandson. Beautifully prepared! We had carpaccio on queen fish which was absolutely delicious, served with real Italian olive oil and focaccia. After that we had fresh fish pasta which was boiled perfectly Al dente and served with a tomato sauce with fresh fish and capers. The staff is professional but casual and the restaurant has a nice ambience.

The pizza is also the best on the island! They have European beer and wine as well.

What I ordered arrived beautifully served delicious. Can highly recommend their fish garpaccio.
