Hin Lat Waterfall reviews
18You have to walk a very long way to get to the actual waterfall. This path is not exactly easy to walk, but it is very worth it. There are a few places where you can go swimming. You should definitely have a bathing suit with you and remember to take something to drink with you.
A small waterfall, can take bath in it, but lot of mosquitoes in this area. The waterfall is clean, the ride till here is peaceful and it is easy to locate. Best part when we went there was no one here so it was very peaceful, calm and quiet.
Very beautiful place, waterfall accessible by a path of around 25 minutes to reach the top. Bring good shoes, it's worth the detour. Free access
Beautiful and challenging hike through the jungle. Stay at the Main path, you have several options to stop and swim.
Time to get up is 30min if you are a mountain runners but more realistic 40 to 60 minutes for Normal people or with kids.
Still worth the Tour!
Hinat waterfall Hin lad temple i like it thanks my lovely life happy time and consideration in here enjoy fun with that nice day best way of life full profile time for me lolol
The path to the waterfall itself was quite challenging. The jungle is very overgrown and the paths are a bit narrow. If you really want to get to know the jungle, this is the right place for you. It is also a good opportunity to later jump up the mountain over stones in the riverbed. It was a great experience. In the evening we were able to see two snakes for a second, which then quickly disappeared. Really good!
Ok so when we went here it was an unexpected visit, at the start we were both wearing 2 pairs of serviceable flip flops, which were very inadequate for this hike. It is probably a 2km hike from where you park and not in a straight line flat path. Climbing over rocks and tree roots. At the 1km mark there is a little hut that sells water and beer sodas etc 50 Baht for a can of Chang beer and 20 Baht for a bottle of water, so cheap. You will need it on the way back. My partners flip flops didn't make the hike which made it worse. Having said all this when you get there the hike was well worth it, you see a few people on the way up and back but when we got there, there was only one other couple that were just leaving, so had a lovely peaceful swim in the refreshingly cool waters of the waterfall pool. We heard whooping monkeys in the canopy above but didn't see them, unfortunate We did get a little lost on the way back, but luckily there is normally someone not too far away coming in the opposite direction.
It's a quite easy hike around 30-45 minutes to the end. On the way there are several spots where you can cool yourself off in the water. But I recommend you to save it for the end, there's a beautiful "pool" at the end of the waterfall where you can dive in. The hike is so much worth it and you can chill and cool down at the end!
Lovely hike in Koh Samui. There’s a lovely cafe half way up which was perfect to stop at for a cold drink.
Amazing waterfall with different sections to chill at.park at the temple, the hike starts at the very right hand side.it took me 25 minutes and wasn’t hard at all.i had the falls to myself and as i was leaving quite a few people were coming.it’s pretty clean and flowing nicely, heaps of water to swim in during dry season! And it’s free! I bought a coconut coming back from the nice man who lives at the front.he loves company!
Very nice! Only 4* because Waterfall is not that special, but nice 45 min hike to get there. Take good shoes.
We were complety alone, could take a bath, it's worth it when you are willing to make I hike.
Difficult for a car with low clearance and bad brakes: p You can swim in the upper waterfall, a nice place with very little people.
The waterfall was cool to see, we bought some fish food for 10 baht and feed the fish in the lake, there were a ton of koi and catfish. Unfortunetly the temple there seems to be unkept.
เที่ยวมาราธอน ไปให้สุดมาหยุดอยู่ที่ น้ำตกหินลาด ทางเดินขึ้นไปน้ำตกชั้นสูงอยู่ไกล บรรยากาศสดชื่น
Peaceful. Hear the waterfall but cant see it as its way up in the mountain bit it was a lovely place to visit as it haf a fabulous Buddhist temple and a Buddhist training School with monk priests. Male and Female who welcomed you in with big hearts. Very welcoming and you could see all of the famous Buddhist statues
Beautiful swimming spots. Take the right hand side at the sign. Wear comfortable walking shoes. On the day we went there was only a few other people walking but no one swimming so we had the place to ourselves for a couple of hours.
Some development alongside the river, lots of ugly water pipes etc so lose a star. It's free. Quite a nice waterfall. 20-30 minute fast walk each way. Slow walkers 50-60 minutes.
At the moment there are orange ribbons along the path, be careful to stop following these once you get to the waterfall, after that they take you uphill to a dirt road away from where you parked. I think they are from a trail running event and the organisers didnt take the ribbons down after.
