Very disappointed with this company. We had booked several excursions over several days. The first day during the excursion to the natural islands I could not stand the boat trip. The fast boat is extremely confusing. Impossible to hear each other speak even when screaming and we are very shaken so I was very sick on arrival. I wanted to cancel the other outings with them. It was refused and no refund. It's not honest at all. I do not recommend this company. Just the money that counts is not serious.

Really good elephant sanctuary on the 4x4 tour. Seems ethical and well run. You can feed the elephants by hand.

Superb excursion we had a pleasant time with the guide called khing who is super friendly and very pleasant company I recommend him

Easy to arrange a tour.
Opted for the Pig Island Tour and Koh Tan.
Transport was on time.
Was about 20 on the speedboat.
It's a real quick zip across the water to Pig Island, which meant there weren't that many other boats and groups on the island yet.
(But it soon fills up!)
The lunch provided on Koh Tan was a nice buffet lunch and it was just our group there, so didn't feel crowded.

Very good experiences with Happy Samui Tours, especially the one around the Island with our guide Yai, the other one at Ko Tan Island and at Ko Madsum Island to see pigs on the beach. The timing was perfect, the transfer efficient and guys very funny! Suggested.

We booked two tours with Happy Samui. Jungle tour on July 13th and Ang Thong National Park on July 14th. I can say for both guides that they are kind, smiling and also funny.
For the Ang Thong Tour on July 14th: Yai very funny and good at what he does, Adam a hard worker and what can you say about the captain? The very good captain! There were waves and he was very good at driving. Truly impressed by their organization and skill.
Jungle Tour on July 13th: very thoughtful towards us.

The bus and service were very good, the tour could have been a little longer and the information about the temple complex could have been a little more detailed. Good for a first impression.

I met Yai on pig Island. Had the most interesting conversations with him. I could have talked to him for hours What an amazing person. I am here for anther 4 weeks and will definitely book through Happy Tours next time

We did a Samui tour. We went to the waterfall, the elephants, the viewpoint in the jungle and a temple. It was a lot of fun, the food was great and it was very comfortable.

I write this review with the aim of changing how Happy Samui Tours handles canceling a tour on it's customers.

We booked the VIP tour to see the Angthong Marine Park through our hotel's concierge. On the night before the tour, Happy Samui Tours waited until after 7 pm to inform the concierge of the cancellation, due to not having enough people. We weren't notified until after 8 pm, when returning from dinner. Canceling the tour this late gave us no time to book another comparable tour to see the park. My suggestion to the company is to have a plan for canceling due to lack of customers.

I'm sure the other operators have similar business decisions to make, when they don't have a minimum number of customers booked. If this was my business, I'd facilitate booking customers on another tour in addition to letting them know with sufficient time to book an alternative tour themselves.

A quick look at Trip Advisor pulls up an alternative VIP Tour run by 100 Degrees East, rated #2 of all tour operators in Trip Advisor. Perhaps work out a deal to trade sending customers to each other in these situations. You all are all local and you all could handle this with ease. Both companies would benefit, along with making customers Happy.

You could also make an offer to the customer for a Super VIP tour for a little more money, something I would have considered. Just explain the situation, many of us are also business owners and professionals. We understand how it is to run businesses.

It should go without saying, that you should never wait until 7 pm to cancel a tour for the next day.

What not to do is what you all did, because you have 2 unhappy customers, a very unhappy concierge who previously sent your tour company a lot of business, a poor review and as a consequence any customer who reads this will have to assess the risk of booking with your company during their vacation.

I reached out to the Happy Samui Tours via What’s App once I was informed of the situation and they were apologetic. I'm sure they are all very nice, but they didn't have any solutions to make this right.

When Ibtook the initiative to ask them for help, they suggested a mass tour company that was rated #179 of #224 tour operators in Koh Samui with 3.5 stars. A tour with 40+ people on the boat. A very different experience.

Those companies are targeting a completely different demographic. Something I would hope, Happy Samui Tours would understand, as a tour operator that offers a "VIP" tour catering to this demographic.

Great organized tour with PKO to Anthong National Park. We can only recommend it to be experienced to be believed. Even saw dolphins. Thank you for the wonderful day with Happy Samui.

Had a beautiful experience today with Yan as the tour guide and everyone that was part of it. Such lovely people and they made sure we had a great trip. I highly recommend this company. Flew all the way from the UK to have a beautiful trip and your company being part of it made it a worth while.

We booked the Angthong tour and were thrilled with our guide Yay and the courteous service. The tour group was small and the service was first class.

We booked a trip for the Marine National Park and it was awesome! The guides very kind and helpful. They showed us hidden places for snorkeling and kayaking. I highly recommend this company tour.

We took the Pig Island & Koh Tan tour. We were hesitant on booking as we had a really bad experience with another tour operator in Phuket. But boy am I glad we decided to go! Everything was on time from the transport at the hotel and along the tour itself.
The group was only 10 people so it felt like a private tour not a mass tourist trap like we experienced in Phuket. We were first to arrive at the Pig Island so we had them all to ourselves! After playing with the pigs and taking pictures we had time to swim and walk around the island - it is beautiful!
Next stop was snorkeling in Koh Tan. The water was clear and we got to see a variety of fishes and even some big crabs.
After snorkeling we had lunch in Koh Tan. It was a lovely little place and we had the place to ourselves. The lunch was delightful as everything was already set for us and wasn't the usual buffet style we've come to expect in big tours. After lunch we had a short walk around the island and took some pictures. All in all 10/10 recommend!

We did the national marine park semi-private tour with them and liked it. The staff was attentive and knew what to do in an emergency situation.
We ran a little behind schedule, but that was ok.

Later edit: pig island tour was so bad
And that "captain" seemed like he didn't know what he was doing. I removed a star, although the semi-private tour was ok, cause this one it was a waste of time and money - was as expensive as the Koh Tao trip that was full day, with another company.

Our tour guide Yai was amazing and very insightful!

I was so pleased to hear all about the culture, Buddhist religion and to explore more of Koh Samui’s nature. This tour was a wonderful experience and very well planned too - giving you time to rest between stops.

We had a very good time with our tourguide Yai! We visited the highlights around the island and Yai explained about the Thai culture and about the highlights that we were visiting. Would recommend this tour when visiting Koh Samui!
