Haad Tien Beach Resort (Office Bangkok)

Do not be fooled by appearances. This hotel is lousy. They don't clean the rooms, between guests or at all. It's dirty, the toilets were dirty, the shower dirty. The sheets, I won't even tell you about them, the photo will be quite sufficient. The fake septic system ends it all, an infamous smell in the hotel and your rooms. We have never seen this, a horror. Whoever said the breakfast was good.the breakfast is clearly not great. You can find better in your hotels which supposedly have fewer stars. And to top it all off, you're going to tell me it's just candy but when we go into your rooms to leave towels and not clean it, we help ourselves to your things.that seems like theft to me luckily we locked everything in the boxes.closed suitcases… for the location, do you want to go snorkelling? You're not going to see anything, you don't see anything and the beach is like the rooms, not clean.

Looking at the photos it's far from truly reflecting, it's much worse in reality. We left a day early…infamous dirty a shame.

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times and loved it every time. Beautiful idyllic beach cove with jungle setting. Modern pool and restaurants. The Beach Club Hotel buildings are nice and air-conditioned and the Haad Tien bungalows are cute and well appointed. Staff is extremely friendly and goes above and beyond. Prices are great, especially for what you get. Snorkeling and swimming from the beach is wonderful. And the sand is sugar-fine and great for kids. Highly recommended!

ไม่แนะนำให้พักค่ะ Not recommended to stay here. The room isn’t comfy enough to sleep. Air-condition was very noisy and the bathroom wasn’t working well. There are lot of staffs around but helpless. Only thing staff could do only says “Sorry”. They can’t fix anything cause management set the rule up very restricted. We have problem alot about the transfer car. It’s not cover the timing of ferry. Beach was nice. Food was okay. Better just to visit for sunbath.cause the tour boat will take you there anyway to see the turtle. Even we paid to stay there. They still asked you to pay for snockling anyway. Not worth it

Beautiful structure on the (according to all locals) the most beautiful beach on the island.and it would be perfect if they paid more attention to the cleanliness of the whole and of the details (tablecloths, curtains, deckchair cushions, etc.)
Persinale very kind but with limited initiative.
We have a family villa directly on the beach, excellent accommodation, spacious and comfortable.
The structure is really beautiful with multiple pools and a bay available.
With little effort they would have a top-level structure.
However I recommend it.

I didn't stay in the hotel - just had lunch there and stayed on the beach. There is a fee to access the beach (100B per person). If you want to save money you can swim or slowly walk (with low tide) to the beach from the Shark View Bar. A lot of people do it all time. (In Thailand beach can never be private but the owner of the neighboring land can limit access to it) Food is ok, not cheap. We were lucky to get the table by the beach (we came before 11am).

We visited the Hotel as guests and spent some hours on the beautiful beach. The service an all personell were super friendly. When my girlfriend lost her phone all service members took care for us an specially the Manager (Dave) was helping us to get back the phone. Many thanks for your support and next time we book this hotel. It seemed to be very good as far as we could see.

Very nice beach but horrible Service for guests. Even you have to pay entry for the beach you are able to Use chairs at the pool side. Even though we were the only guests there, all chairs were free, and we ordered at the restaurant we have been chased away. Very poor. Far away from Western Service-Standarts

We were very disappointed with the level of cleanliness of the place, the level of service and also with the level of consideration that we had to leave the place the day before due to an emergency and there was no consideration on the part of the place. And the bed is really uncomfortable.do not recommend

Nice location and surroundings. The rooms looks great and it's private beach is clean and large. Staffs are well trainned and excellant service mind.

VERY friendly staff - especially in the restaurant (Htay) and the reception (Lidya), but really EVERYBODY working there is very friendly and helpful. We first had 2 hideaway villas, but because it was too far away from the restaurant, etc.we requested 2 rooms with a connecting door. Although the receptionist told us the new rooms (beach club) are a downgrade we were very happy with it - very clean and big.
They are busy cleaning and renovating the grounds, but PLEASE, dear Haad Tien/Beach Club team, the side entrance inside, where the stairs are and the stair case, of the beach club rooms next to the Italian restaurant also has to be cleaned on a regular basis.

Although the prices are bit high in the restaurants for Thailand and in spite of the small issue with renovation, we HIGHLY recommend the Haad Tien Beach Resort / Beach Club, because the courtesy, willingness to help and especially the friendliness of the staff compensate for all that.

Located on one of the beaches of Koh Tao with clear water and white sand. The hotel facilities are very nice with 2 beautiful swimming pools overlooking the beach and sea. The outdoor restaurant is just perfect with its location right behind the beach. Very friendly staff. But it is sad the hotel staff cannot manage some non guests tourists using the hotel facilities which are normally for guests use only especially the pools and their sunbeds!

Beautiful located resort at an almost private bay. Fully wooden villas. Compared to other locations prices are (to) high. The villas at the beach are relatively small. During daytime the beach can get a bit crowded because for a small fee you can enter the beach too. And at the reef in the bay the whole day boats with tourists arrive for snorkeling. A few years ago it was still a quiet paradise, but this bay is also discovered now.

A very nice Beach resort on Koh Tao. Rooms are wooden and beautiful, breakfast has not much varieties but the food at the restaurant is really good.

Restaurant sehr gut! Preislich gehoben! Es werden immer nochmal 17prozent steuern erhoben! Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Sehr schönes resort! Kann man nur empfehlen!

Auf booking war ein zimmer günstiger als wenn man vor ort Nachfragt! Zumindest war es bei uns der Fall! Massagen etc sehr teuer! Man bekommt zwar Gutscheine aber preislich bezahlt man da europäische preise!

Overall we can recommend the place - very friendly staff who always have a smile for you.

We stayed in the Castaway Villa which we can absolutely recommend - directly at the beach (10 meters) with two own sunbeds for you. Directly at the villa is also a daybed to relax. The villa is very clean.

FYI: also people who do not stay in the Ressort can go to the beach (100 Bhat). So they will also be at the Beach and sometimes they are a Bit shameless and place themselves directly next to you - so you don’t have the „ real“ Castaway feeling of being by your own.

A big plus is the reef directly at the ressort - just grab your snorcheling equipment and go for many fishes - and if you are lucky even sharks and turtles!

But please note: If you like swimming in the sea this isn’t the perfect place for you. The reef starts like 3-4 meters after you have entered the sea - so have that in mind. But for people who love snorcheling/scuba diving: awesome place!

And we can’t share the view that the Food is super expensive - it’s normal for such a ressort.

To finish it: nice place which we can recommend!

Absolute PARADISE! One of the most beautiful hotels that I have ever been too. Surrounded by nature and located in one of the most beautiful beaches in the island. The rooms where beautiful. I had a private pool with the view of the ocean. There are two great restaurants in the property with amazing views. A really good breakfast buffet. I was able to take a diving course in the property and then went diving in the ocean. It was breathtaking! The pool area is absolutely beautiful with a pool bar. All I can say is I CANT WAIT TO COME BACK!

If you want go there just to swimm on the beach, don't go. Entry is 100 bath pro person and nothing really to do there. There is a lot nicer beaches without entry fee.
