Greenlight Cafe Koh Samui

Super fresh and tasty food! The pumpkin soup hooked us on a rainy day and drew us back for two more visits during our stay. Great vibe and friendly staff.

We were here twice for breakfast. The business has great potential. Vegan food is also available. Prices are slightly above average for the area. But be patient! Although we were the only guests in the restaurant apart from one other person, we waited over 20 minutes for the smoothie bowl. One of us got our food before the other, and by the time they brought the second dish, the first was almost finished.
As a "bonus" I found a hair in the food, which can happen, but it shouldn't happen.
Nevertheless, I rate it 4/5 and believe that the company will work on the speed of service.

Love this place. Friday salsa is a highlight for locals and tourists. The monthly green market is also excellent. Each week there are other activities like backgammon on Monday’s and Samui Real presentations and debates each Wed.

Really extensive vegan and veggie menu (with a couple of meat dishes too if you need to keep the meat-eaters happy!) Staff were really friendly and the service was good.

The meal took a very long time, unfortunately it didn't taste good (because the egg was burnt) and there were no drinks for breakfast (orange juice)
In addition, the food here is more than three times as expensive as the rest of Thailand.
Even more expensive than in Germany!

Most wonderful fresh, healthy tasting food at Fisherman's Village. The menu is perfect, the hosts Patrick & Era were so welcoming. Yoga classes next door. Beautiful quiet rooms with private courtyard close to lovely pool. The Salsa classes Friday night were alot of fun. Highly recommended this place to stay.

If you’re a serious health-conscious foodie this cafe is for you. Healthy, tasty and nutritious meals.

A very relaxing space! Had Eggs on Toast which was great. Butterfly Pea Latte was great too, a good alternative if you need to avoid caffeine. Will come again.

Super healthy restaurant with lots of customisation possible. Wild salmon is a nice touch - it's important to eat wild seafood. Chocolate cake dessert was exceptional.

Greenlight Cafe what happened to you?

I've not had such a bad experience in any place on the island yet. Greenlight used to be such a great place. Healthy fresh food. Great service etc but after today I don't think i can justify going back.

The area we sat smelt strongly of cat urine. At first we thought it was our imagination. 5 minutes later, one of their cats came up to our seat, and actually urinated all over the bench we were on. The owners came and tried to clean but it the whole restaurant stunk. We decide to stay because the food is normally good.

When the food arrived, the waitress didn't understand the menu and got my order wrong. We had this salad at least twice per week in August 2022 but dish had no flavour. The seabass was not fresh, unseasoned, and extremely over cooked.

It's a shame because it was one of our favourite spots on this side of the island. Hopefully they sort out the kitchen and the smelly cats.

A nice selection of vegan and non vegan meals. The portion size could be bigger since you pay a little more for thai standards. Everything is very delicious though.

The price outweighs the quality and most certainly quantity. Also if you are understaffed, please inform the customers before ordering. That way others may decide whether they wish to wait or look elsewhere.

Took an hour to get pancakes in an empty restaurant and the serving size was minuscule. Had to go elsewhere to order more food. Disappointing and overpriced to say the least. Was tasty food but could use twice the amount for an appropriate meal size.

Good coffee and drinks but food VERY overpriced. Mushrooms on toast was soggy bread drowned in sauce. Much nicer food options along the same road for a much smaller price.

The most wonderful cafe, great location. Amazing menu for vegan food choices. The flavours have been curated by the best. The staff is attentive and the owners are lovely.

We tried green light cafe after looking at the extensive menu online and decided we had to go immediately.
On arrival we saw a big sign to advertise their free begginners salsa classes and party every Friday 8pm onwards. I am looking forward to attending tomorrow.

Onto the food - phenomenal! My friend actually teared up while eating as she said it was the most perfect food to indulge in after a 30 day fast.

We tried the vegan pizza, cream of pumpkin soup and mushroom burger.
All were delicious we even ordered another pizza as it was the best vegan pizza we have tried to date. Cream of pumpkin soup also a 10/10. Mushroom burger was nice also.

Can't wait to return tomorrow. Highly recommended if you enjoy great healthy food.

Extremly small portion (never seen somthing like this).

Main course (jungle curry aka yellow curry) was tasteless (like drinking water!) and very expensive.

The waitress dont understund english but answer for every quastion with long "YESSSS".

On top if all, 160 bhat for pineapple juice?

Extensive vegan options, good flavour, and a pool, had a very good experience here.
You can swim while waiting for your food or after filling your tummy!

Would be better if you could serve water not in plastic bottle but some other sustainable way.
