Grand Thai House Resort

Lovely resort. The owner and her family are very nice. The pool is great and has pool noodles for little ones and a more shallow children's pool. Only a 1-2minute walk from the beach. Rooms are a bit older and so sometimes have issues but when brought up with the owner they quickly fix any problems. An enjoyable stay, we will stay again.

Great hotel, nicest one we’ve stayed in for the price. The pool is great and they have pool towels for you to use. Across the street from the beach and lots of amazing restaurants on the street.
Cleaning ladies are relentless though. They give you a “do not disturb/please make up room” sign to hang on the door but still knock everyday and don’t leave until you tell them if you want them to clean or not. They came in to the room while I was showering one time asking if I wanted them to clean. Another time I came to the door wearing a towel to let them know I didn’t want them to clean today but would take clean towels and they only gave me one because I didn’t give them the one I was wearing.

Everything was great but there is mosquitoes in the room, maybe it’s just my room

Nice clean room, hotel in a great location just across the beach. The hotel itself is just okay. It looks like it's in the process of rebuilding possibly so it was mostly empty and didn't have a proper reception area. Not that this directly affected our stay in anyway.

Good location, in the very center of lamai, I was afraid that it would be noisy at night, but by 12 the area was already falling asleep.to the beach 5-7 minutes walk, nearby there is a night market with a variety of food. There are also many supermarkets in the area.handy if you don't have your own transport.the rooms are large and bright, the balcony is huge, cleaning every day, there is a mini-fridge, a kettle. The hotel has a small pool and a few sunbeds around.we did not book a room in advance, so when we arrived, we agreed with the staff on the spot, we had to wait a bit until a room on the top floor was free.our room was perfectly prepared, the hotel staff were very nice to us.good value for money. I recommend.

Tourist hotel, all right but nothing special. The hotel has 2 parts on both sides of the street. It is not located directly at the beach but a 3-4 minute walk away.
