Extreme Academy Koh Tao

Thank you Tobin, you made a very timid/ terrified swimmer/ non-swimmer feel very comfortable and more confident. Even though a lot of the waters were murky due to recent rain fall we had a great time swimming around seeing some fish and getting some tips and spending time in the water. We especially loved the (I feel well-deserved Juicy Moose) or two you recommended at Maya Beach Club post-trip. Thanks again

Had a fantastic experience snorkelling with Extreme Academy Koh Tao. Easily the highlight of our time in the islands of Thailand. If you are debating choosing this or one of the cheaper group boats you HAVE to choose this. Tobin is so knowledgeable about the area and knows when and where to go to avoid the crowds. We showed up at Koh Nang Yuan when it was completely empty! Being there just by yourself is a once in a lifetime experience. Clear water, healthy coral, and loads of fish. Thanks again for a fabulous time!

I spent a couple of weeks in Koh Tao with a mate on holidays where we went out fishing with Tobin. He's very passionate about fishing and being out on the ocean. That rubbed off on us and made the trip that much more memorable. We managed to catch plenty of fish that day - think it was up there with the best fishing experience of my life. Id recommend to anyone visiting Koh Tao to go out fishing or snorkelling on Tobin's Boat you wont be disappointed.

Best fishing on Koh Tao. Tobin knows his stuff and we had an awesome trip catching loads of fish. Couldn't have asked for a better day out on the Sea. Not expensive compared to other islands which are way more expensive. Thanks Tobin for a great day out

I cannot recommend this enough, booked a fishing trip with Extreme Academy during my holidays in Koh Tao, so worth it!
The conditions were perfect and fishing was red hot! Tobin has excellent fishing gear, two boats to choose from and the local knowledge that makes for a very fun trip.

Won't hesitate to book again on my next visit.

I wouldn't recommend them. Too expensive. You can find better places to make your fishing. They still didn't send me the video and photos of our fishing. It's now more than one month.

Tobin is the man. It's easy to get ripped off or disappointed by a fishing experience in SE Asia, but Extreme Academy and Tobin's Australian charisma and expertise simply isn't the status quo. If you're looking for a quality fishing experience in the Gulf of Thailand, you need look no further. Extreme Academy is the best choice for all aspects of your trip including, but not limited to, the best gear, the best boats, and the best knowledge and accessibility of the species and fishing sites. Guaranteed a good time out there, it's definitely worth the trip to Tao if you're on the fence about getting out on a fishing trip during your holiday in Southern Thailand.

Had a great time out on the boat with Tobin. He is very professional and knowledgeable about places to go and what to see. Saw lots of amazing fish, turtles and even some sharks (not scary ones though). The boat was clean and new and much nicer than most of the others on the island. Five stars!
