Escape Divers Jungle Hostel

I escaped there cause it’s kind of in the middle of nowhere and a taxi to the center is quite expensive. No internet service just Wi-Fi and no lights in the rooms Just personal lamps

Stopped by at the hostel for drinks and wished we had rather booked to stay here than at the hostel we had actually booked in for. What a great time, service was amazing. Played pool and table tennis with some karaoke before going to the jungle party. Walked around to see the hostel and just wished I had booked here. Next time!

Staff couldn't be more welcoming when we arrived.
As first time divers and we were put onto Josh to discuss the courses on offer and we completed our Open Water course with him in the following few days.
The hostel is located in a nice quiet area but not too far of a walk from the main Sairee party area, so we could dip in and return back to the peace and quiet as we pleased.
We were able to chill out a lot, play games of pool with a beer in a shaded area and meet some other lovely travellers.
There is a bike hire shop nearby, laundry service available at the hostel and if you're on Koh Tao to dive, this is the place!

Throughout our stay the Escape team advised us on anything we needed and even helped us book our onward ferry tickets. Very helpful and we will definitely be back to see you all again soon!

The hostel would basically be in a nice place. But unfortunately it is not maintained, not really cleaned. The toilet in the room didn't work during the days I was there. It would be nice if ed got a little more love.

Great place, everything you need, great food at restaurant, removed enough from the town but still social

Cool place with cool people, we arrived with a group of 12 and were looked after straight away with taxis to/from the accom, easy check out/in times and bag storage that helped a lot with the chaos of our group, the accom is super cool, great hangout vibe with pool and table tennis and on-site bar and restaurant, would recommend

Great hostel in a great location. Far enough away that you miss all the noisy drunk tourists but a short walk to the beaches and bars!

Absolutely incredible place! Full of lovely people who will look after you especially when it comes to renting a moped (which you will definitely need on Koh Tao). It’s also clean, quite social and even had a couple pool tables. I fully expect it to become more expensive in the feature so come here now before it’s more than dirt cheep.

Hostel is very well placed, a short walk from the main beach where everything is happening, but quiet enough for a good night sleep. The rooms, amenities and bar are all great, not only for the price but of the same standard of much pricier hostels across both Thai Land and Vietnam. Staff are very knowledgable about the area, friendly and helpful. Highly knowledgable divers also so if your looking to get certified this is the place, ex-military so no messing about. Bar is kitted up with a mega flatscreen so if your keen for the prem footy or sports its sorted.

Best place in Koh Tao, if you are looking for a chill hostel to socialise and have a good night's sleep. The staff is lovely and the rooms are clean. I had a great time and would definitely come again.

I have stayed at Escape Divers hostel this past week, and have nothing but positive things to say. All staff are absolutely golden, and as a first time diver looking to do both my open20 and advanced 30 with Raid, they could not have made me feel more comfortable. I felt completely safe at all times and all instructors are ridiculously experienced. The rooms were perfect too: clean, comfortable, and secure. Gonna miss it!

Stayed here very last minute and got stranded on the island and they took me in and gave 5 star service. Amenities were great, multiple bathrooms and showers. Mixed and private dorm spaces. Fun bar in the general space. They have adorable dogs on the property as well along with a ping pong table and hammock chair. Wifi was also great which was needed as I was working during my time here.

A hidden gem. I met up with the Escape Divers gang here, and it was a real treat to hang with them at home court. Beautifully designed and lit, pool table, and very chill Thai tiki bar. Movie screen and pool are on the way I hear. It'll be among the best of Koh Tao life.on the actual real life Turtle Island, it's all about chill vibes, peace, drinks and green with friends and loved ones. You can be anybody and be loved in Thailand, and EDJH reminds us with salt kissed ocean winds.

Perfectly placed just outside of the main part of town where all the bars and restaurants are (about a ten minute walk) it’s a good escape from all the chaos in town but still gives good access. Great staff, helpful and sociable— helped us work through booking extra nights when our scuba boat was coming in late, very chill and understanding.

Any hostel that has dogs is a great hostel— three dogs included

Has a diving school associated with a hostel which is a bonus if you are looking to that and don’t know where to go!

Stayed here while doing a diving course through escape divers- best 2 weeks of our 2 month trip by far! Can't recommend this hostel enough, lovely garden, restaurant and bar in the evening and very nice rooms, recently renovated and very clean!
Staff all super friendly- close enough to Sairee- also lovely dogs that live on site!
Couldn't imagine staying anywhere else while on koh tao, definitely stay here you won't regret it!
